Doesn't do that to me, is Anti-Aliasing on?
No, but it does the same thing with AA.
Well, I'm kind of stuck. Probably forced V-Sync or something?
I assume this works on Crysis Wars?
Well, I'm kind of stuck. Probably forced V-Sync or something?
No, especially since I can get above 60.
No, especially since I can get above 60.
LoD might be messed up. Or it might be a wierd bug where, since your FPS is faster than the refresh rate, the foliage goes away for a micro-second. Or it could just be not enough VRAM.
Can you be more specific? I'm having a hard time finding anything online or in the control center about renaming the card.
1/4 life had a thread on it in pc hardware % software, look there.

Well, is Crysis patched to 1.2 and ATI Drivers OK?
Does it apply to Multiplayer as well?
Doubt it's either of those three. It happens even when I have a low/high fps. And my 3870X2 didn't even use to do this.
Assuming you have some form of 4870 then it's Crytech's agreement with Nvidia most likely.
1/4 life had a thread on it in pc hardware % software, look there.
Never mind me it's in the video games section, just saw it sink down to page two.
It's version 1.2.1, latest ATI drivers and a 3870X2. Haven't tried multiplayer but I would assume so. It doesn't happen in the editor though.
I like the motion blur when the gun moves, is that it? Is there any way I can get than on DX9?
Cant run DX10 Shaders and DLLs in DX9 mode.
In dx10 mode (vista) I get stuff like bushes and trees in the distance and clouds just flash existant and non existant really fast. It's weird.
I had this happen once while making a ToD, but that was because i overloaded the engine.
My engine definitely isn't overloading.
It's version 1.2.1, latest ATI drivers and a 3870X2. Haven't tried multiplayer but I would assume so. It doesn't happen in the editor though.
This is a useful clue. The editor doesn't load up the user ToD's. It loads up the defaults, and only changes once the user submits the changes. THis implies that a ToD setting effectively screwed your DX10 graphics.
But it was like that before I installed this mod lol.
My engine definitely isn't overloading.
do you have aa on in the control panel for your card?
But it was like that before I installed this mod lol.
What the christ. Try updating your DX10 render libraries. maybe Crysis 1.21 uses some hooks you may not have.
There's not much of a difference, but I'll let the pictures demonstrate. One of the preview shots: Finished product, all on very high w/ custom TOD and flowgraph The largest difference to me is the lack of "godrays" and the blurriness in the background. I'll get more comparison screenshots later, once I can find the other areas that were demonstrated (Does anybody know off-hand where some of those are?)
Interesting that the water looks genuinely better. Weird.
Interesting that the water looks genuinely better. Weird.
That's because it's blurred at that distance.
Does this work for MP?
What the christ. Try updating your DX10 render libraries. maybe Crysis 1.21 uses some hooks you may not have.
Well it's not 1.21 because this was the reason I updated it. Didn't fix it. Anyway DX10 mode runs worse for me in every game anyway, so I'm happy with DX9.
The "dx10" object/motion blur can be enabled on dx9 via the command r_motionblur 5 It's buggy on places though .
Yeah, people's faces can look disturbing.
Yeah, people's faces can look disturbing.
It's only buggy if you don't run Vista/7, because XP people think DX10 is still a lie/hoax to make you spend more money.
Yeah, weirdly though, from everyone's complaint, I get to play DX10 with higher performance than in DX9.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fPIeZ78pKQ&fmt=22 Decided to try the mod out, and h*ly sh*t! Crysis can't look much better.
Nice pc you got there. The mod effects certain levels more than others, So try out some more. What fps you get with those settings?
Does anyone else get pitch-black night levels with this mod?
Anyone else get no differences at all?
