Does anyone know the .go coordinates for ashenvale?

Installed the alpha client. Do I not install any patches? certain areas kill framerate then eventually die (guessing the memory leak issues)

I didn't install any of the patches after it downloaded the initial client though, is that right?

You can install all the patches since the latest patch is now supported by the sandbox. In the future, do check if the sandbox already supports the new patch before updating.

Thanks man, that's handy, I already got into ashenvale though :) It used to crash with the old patch, but it's fixed now.

I'm having some problems trying to patch the game, everytime i start the launcher it says "Launcher requires write permission to the E:\World of Warcraft Beta\ directory to successfully patch the game. Please enable write access to the directory using an administrator account."

And yes, I am the administrator on my computer.

Having this same issue.
The sandbox (not the game client) also seems to crash the moment I get to the realm selection, but that might be because of the game version.

As I said you can probably only see the description. I doubt they do anything, or if you even cast them.

Set the realmlist to

set realmlist public-beta.logon.battle.net
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""
set portal public-beta

And log in with username *something*@*something*.com
with any pass you want.
then you can patch the game.
