It was said already, but Dino Crisis was pretty decent.
I know this is gonna sound stupid, but I saw the title and the first thing that came to mind was why there never was a game based on the old sitcom Dinosaurs.
BRING ME THE TURE Dino Crsis 3
they never made the D3 for Xbox it's all a bad dream
Turok on N64 was pretty badass
Fuck yes
Dino Crisis is awesome, I'm currently playing it.
[sp] That first HUGE dinosaur that you encounter really scared the shit out of me![/sp]
It's called T[yrannosaurus]-Rex (if used full name, change dash to space)
Try JURASSIC THE HUNTED.
You mow down literally hundreds of SMART Dinosaurs at a time. Sure, its a bargain bin game, and it can be beat within a day, but it is the best example of graphically amazing dinosaurs(and a cool main menu that you can sit and watch) and smart A.I. The raptors can and will flank you from behind, the sides, AND above you if you give them the chance. And once a Utah Raptor(or 2) shows up, you gotta divide your time between taking out the normal raptors(who can and will rape you), and the big ass Utahs who will tackle you and slash you up.
The survival mode is fun too. Last as long as you can against WAVES of Raptors, Pterasaurs, while gaining better weapons and powerups.
Did I mention you can go "Bullet-time" and see the skeleton, heart, and brain of the dinosaur you are fighting? Every animal in the game(except insects/scorpions) can be shot in the brain or heart in bullet time, brain is a one hit kill, and heart slows down the dinosaur(will kill it after some shots).
I recommend Jurassic the Hunted to You, J-Dude. If you don't like it, then I'm sorry, but I feel I got my money's worth out of it, and would be happy to sit through it again.
You obviously havent played Dino run

What was that Jurassic Park sidescrolling platformer game? I remember playing it on PS1, there were parts where you played as armed humans and other bits as dinosaurs, including raptors and a T-rex. When you were the T-rex you couldn't see the humans you were trying to slaughter if they stood still.
Try JURASSIC THE HUNTED.
He said decent dinosaur games.
Here's a proposition: "dino/monster survival-horror".
Does anybody else remember sneaking past the Antlion Guardian in Half Life 2 Episode 2? Wasn't that a rush? Terrifying, yet exhilarating and rewarding? That's because you were up against an enemy you couldn't beat, only slow down. It was bigger than you, it was faster than you. It's sounds would get louder as it closed the gap between you. You just need to get to the cave...! Get to the cave...!
No actually, it was boring as shit.
It reminded me I was playing a game, a game where enemies can just have a boolean variable flipped and suddenly be magically untouchable. I kited that thing with the crowbar for 10 minutes just to see if it could die.
Nope of course not, OOOOOOH SKARY.
Try Jurassic: The Hunted. You can pick it up for like $20, and it's pretty good for that price. Albeit it's not the best game ever, but it's still fun. The Survivor Mode is awesome, and that gives it replayability. (Despite the fact that there's no multiplayer.)
Crysis 2 should have been a dinosaur game. Crytek really sucks ass I don't get it, it's so fucking obvious.
The best dino-related game is JP:Operation Genesis, until the crysis-mod-that's-no-longer-a-crysis-mod comes out.
Good memories with that game :)

The lost world or something? But I don't remember the part with the T-rex where you could not see humans if they stood still. You can play as a human, raptor, T-rex, compsognatus.
You're vulnerable, almost naked, in a land full of primal giants evolved to ambush, outrun and outgun.
THIS is the true dinosaur experience...why is there nothing like it?
I would do play it just for this.

The first time I didn't know it couldn't die, so I wasted nearly all my ammo untill I figured I was just supposed to outrun it :saddowns:

Seriously...?
The Vort even told you not to bother trying to kill it, were you playing at 3am or something?
Turok 1 and 2.....can't think of anything else
Seriously...?

Yes, I was playing late and was tired so I didn't pay that much attention.

What was the point of the last level for Compy again?. Why would a guy waste rocket blasts and ammo on a tiny dinosaur that is no threat alone.
A compy can still kill a person.
Dinosaurs are so scary, it's probably the scariest thing I know in games or films. A surival horror game with Dinosaurs, and ancient creatures would be fantastic.
The bits with the T-Rex in King Kong were pretty fucking intense.
go pester activision for a dino cod game
actualy, dinosaurs is how cod should have started, cod 3,4 and 5 would have been much more awesome if you where fighting dinosaurs. (mw2 should never have been created
Try Jurassic park operation genesis
A compy can still kill a person.
One tiny Jurassic park compy that can be grabbed and killed easily in the Jurassic Park franchise all alone.
That be like a huntsmen attacking you (By the way..that's a spider)
i agree there is a lacking but there are a few good ones.

I enjoyed this game, but it doesn't really focus on the dinosaurs.
Dino Crisis 1-2 are the only good ones that I know of
Turok 2: Seeds of evil has like, nothing to do with dinosaurs except raptors in like 2 levels but it is my most favouritest game ever :v:
Dino Crisis 2 was awesome. I wished they made a true sequel to it instead of making the piece of shit known as Dino Crisis 3: Dinosaurs in Space.
