Surprised to see so many people with the same headset I use (the first one posted).
It is pretty great.
The Microsoft LX-3000 is also a great cheap headset, great sound and amazing microphone.
Those snap so easily. I've already bought two and they always snap at the part that holds the earphones.

Good quality though.
If they snap easy then the quality isn't good, you're post contradictory.

This is exactly what I'm using now, and it's a brilliant headset for the price.

For all your headphone needs.

These cans are pretty awesome, have them myself, been using them for years, never broke, sound great, awesome microphone and ignore the Fatality branding, the headset is pretty great.

I'm using these now. The microphone quality is pretty poor. I'm on Windows 7 and they're recognized as Speakers, is there a way to make it recognize them as Headphones and where do I get that Creative sound software?

The thread posted above you said do not get anything with "Fatal1ty" in the name, so
How can you like such large Headphones/sets? The only thing I like about them is the fact that it blocks background noise.
They make you look like an air traffic controller.
I had a the GameCom 777 for a time and personally I thought they were terrible. The massive, square cups were horribly uncomfortable and the sound quality was muddy at best. Can't recommend anything from that line of headsets.

Well the 777's are notorious for being bad. They're the gimmicky 7.1 surround sound ones. The 367's are stereo and sound overall pretty awesome. They could use a little more bass, but other than that they're perfect for the price.

The smaller "Open" headphones hurt my ears, and the big "Closed" cups are very comfortable.
Yep the only reason I upgraded from my open ear headphones was they hurt my ears when I wore them longer than an hour. No more ear hurting with closed ear headsets :buddy:

It's funny because that's listed as a plus on the box of the Gamecom 367's posted at the start of the thread. And I quote "Rugged military-like design".

yes because how you look when playing a game alone on your pc really matters
I just got the Plantronics GameCom 367, so the chances of it snapping in half is likley?
I'm sure if i am careful they will last a while.
I use an HP Prenium Stereo Headset.

Cheaper at my area. Bought it for $20 at Walmart. I've found it decent.

I've had them for a month already and mine haven't even begun to show signs of wear/damage. They'll last you a while if you're careful, which you should be anyway :v:

Mine broke because I took them off a bit too fast with too much force. Just take them off carefully and I'm sure you can get a few years out of them.

$25-$30
I use them, they're amazing. It takes a day or two to wear them in but once you do they are comfortable. Mic sounds great too
[editline]02:34AM[/editline]
Oh yeah I forgot to mention something. The cables are all reinforced. The cable coming from the headset is the two cables for sound and mic, which are then wrapped in a hard but flexible plastic. All the connections are reinforced with a hard plastic (which you can see in the pic as the red things at the connections). The in-line volume control and mic mute are really freakin handy too
Does anyone who use these have glasses? Is it ok?
In fact, are there any over ear headsets that don't hurt to wear with glasses out there?

Yes I indeed wear glasses, I haven't had any problem with them. The cushion around the thingies are made of a really soft foam then covered in a soft velvet like material
