Just played probably 5-6 maps and I want to say a few things that I think should be noted:
1. Plasma rifle (one that lobs red fireballs?) is incredibly underused due to its lack of either sufficient firing speed/ammo or damage/area of affect. I think the rifle should be changed to decently high rate of fire that drains energy instead of using ammo.
2. Plasma Launcher - Another gun underused due to it's weakness compared to the shotgun/minigun (these are fine). The slow rate of fire is a powerful handicap and should be given additional damage done or the area of effect increased.
3. You should give the generators the ability to keep players charged (like how they are) and once they are destroyed, stop all energy generation for 10-15 seconds. Something to encourage their survival/destruction if you pick up what I'm putting down.

The launcher used to be uber powerful, I'll buff it a bit.
and I'll buff the plasma rifle too.
We need the knives to be insanely strong (They do have a laser blade so it makes sense). It'd make it more worth it to use it and it'd stop fights from be reduced to Shotgun/Chaingun faceoffs where everyone's jumping around shooting randomly.
