Most of the bugs have been fixed, I just finished coding the Hoplite + Flamer.
Just gotta code in 2 more packs + the melee weapons and that's basically it.
I think ideally we should try and get like 4 official servers running mist orbital andro and gulch
i want to make a map for this mod, do i need any special entities or anything? do i need to make this in HL2:DM or what?
or if i make a map in Ep2, will you be able to convert it into whatever version you need to??? thanks!!
btw, i think you guys should make a steam group and set up regular community play times, similar to the overwatch steam group's scheduling philosophy. that way we will all be reminded to get on and play at a certain time.

Yeah we will start probably after the 1.05 patch as there's simply not enough content ATM to keep people interested.

Average player count on all servers total: 10-30
Occasionally servers fill, but it's not that regular, once a week or during the clan scrims.
btw Jlea my particle effects are suddenly crapping out, like looking all wireframey. Any idea why that would happen?
I think somebody's been messing with some of them, I'm going to take a look in the SVN at the particles.

Second, are there any servers? I can't seem to find them.
third, I was trying to set up a shitty server in my own pc, but the dedicated server tool tells me gameinfo.txt is missing. Am i doing something wrong?

I'm working on a new set of characters and kits, anyone got any suggestions (come on down idea guys)
also; sparkwire, use self illum on those green bits and the red of the scope, in 3ds max viewport (xoliul shader) it has it's own map port but in source it's the alpha channel (of the diffuse map), I don't know if you already were aware of this but it's something you should definitely add to your model :) it looks sweet so far, normals wouldn't go far wrong either tbh

this is where you report it to jlea so he can fix that little issue to where when a player disconnects the flag drops instead of dissappearing with the player
These are all the bug fixes (not features) of the next patch.
Gameplay:
• Blaster projectile speed increased by 20%
• Blaster fire-rate increased by 25%
• Blaster damage reduced by 10%
• Blaster energy requirement increased by 40%
• Player jetpack energy increased by 20%
• Minimum fall speed to damage reduced by 50%
• Fall damage no longer causes energy-stall
• EMP grenade radius doubled
• Flame grenade radius reduced by 50%
Bugfixes:
• Repairing the generators gives the player 5 points + $500
• EMP + Flame grenades now damage the thrower
• Grenades now bounce and lose velocity properly
• If a player disconnects while holding the flag, it will no longer disappear
• Flame grenades now ignite all surrounding players
• Pickups now give all classes full health
• Deployable healers now fully heal all classes, plus an extra 20%
