Not the best video but This game series was no doubt the best. My personal fav was TS2 because it just felt much more arcadey and had more to it (thats not saying future perfect was bad, but just not as good IMO)
Graeme Norgate, the person who made the music for all the TimeSplitters games has uploaded most of the tracks to Bandcamp. http://graemenorgate.bandcamp.com/ I can't say for certain but I think the music quality of his uploaded songs are better than the ones on youtube.
Or you can go to TS Music Box, which has pretty much every song from Timesplitters up and is perfectly legal, though they may start removing stuff now that Graeme is uploading his stuff himself http://ndrewsemler.com/tsmusicbox/
Oh I've seen that before, that's where I downloaded all the songs so far! I just wanted to mention his uploads because you can listen to them or buy them and help support him. He did make a lot of great music. In the future I'll probably chip in a few dollars just to have the tracks in flac.
Aye, same. I think that if the guy that runs TS Music Box is even around anymore and sees that he's uploading them he'll also start taking them down out of respect. If Timesplitters 4 ever comes they BETTER let Graeme keep making the music. No Norgate = no Timesplitters.
Virus on this map was SO AMAZING. Also this is probably my favorite song out of all the games.
I remember when I was about 11 or 12 when my Dad found Timesplitters 2 at Gamestop in the bargain bin for 5 bucks (it had been out a while) and brought it home as a surprise. I wasn't to enthused at first, considering I had never heard of it. I was actually expecting it to be kind of bad. I mean, how good could a 5 dollar bargain bin game be? I was fucking blown away. I played it all that night, and the next day. I beat every level on every difficulty, made maps, levels, and thanked my Dad for getting me such an awesome game. It is still on my shelf, a proud member of my library. However, my Xbox is fried so I cannot play it. 360 doesn't work with it either, but at least I can still look as the game case.

I need to get my PS2 to work again and find a copy of Timesplitters 2 Loved every single moment of TS:Future Perfect, so I suppose I'll love 2
Timesplitters thread, eh? Hey Cairn, where ya' at!
Hope I'm not late for the party! [editline]10th June 2013[/editline]
Apparently I've heard through the wood worm that TS4 is being worked on. Now it isn't exactly TS4 but I remember an article saying that Crytek gave permission to Daniel Wesoly. http://www.egmnow.com/articles/pc/egm-interview-daniel-wesoly-the-man-behind-the-timesplitters-cryengine-3-mod/ (Here it is) Also guy who went to my Uni is apparently doing some assets for it so just maybe.
I am Daniel Wesoly actually, I got the team together and the game is called TimeSplitters Rewind. I got approval from Crytek to go ahead and make a fan based game using the Cryengine. So I have a team around 20 men strong working on this as we speak, I could have a word and get some exclusive media just for this thread.
manliness
If you guys pull this off...

Great to hear from you, and would be interesting to see some exclusive media. Also I admire your dedication to Timesplitters, I remember maybe two years ago you trying to rally everyone together to get Crytek to do something, and it has paid off, all the best on the fan game.

How exactly will that work with the voice acting? Are you just going to try to re-create it all, or what?
Is there a Timesplitters Rewind kickstarter? PLS PLS PLS
My PS2 flat out refuses to play my copy of 1 and when I play 2 on my new LCD TV it always looks very fuzzy. We need a Timesplitters 4.
The Mansion in Future Perfect was probably one of the more fun levels, mostly because of...

I would kill a man for another Timesplitters that's just as fun and as expansive as the rest of the series.
I'm waiting for TimeSplitters 4 too. Don't lose hope fans! They might make it, they're late. But we're the ones that need to wait, no matter how long it takes.
For anyone who's interested you can play Future Perfect on PCSX2, never used to be able to but I'm guessing they fixed it, as with most games.

I know, but it's just for anyone that wants to play a shit version of the game with visual artefacts that make you think your GPU is melting, a framerate that changes randomly and certain effects that just don't even show up. [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] Just hooked up my original Xbox and am playing Future Perfect now. :D
A lot of games that you play as a kid seem great until you go back and play them and they are shit. This is not one of those games. And Daniel, good luck to you. I'll be sure to download the remake you and your team is working on.
Favorite thing was how you could mix weapons from different times, at least I think you could And damn dat map maker was the shizzle
I've never gone back to a childhood game to find it bad.
Playing it now I'm enjoying it just as much as I did back when I was a kid, also the aiming isn't stiff which makes a change, old games usually had stiff as fuck aiming on consoles.
i don't remember the way you aimed the guns in timesplitters 2 being that dicksplittingly awful. i remember loving this game as a kid and nearly beating it but what the hell is this awkward mess
Took awhile for me to reconfigure the controller and settings but after that it was a blast
you can make the gun NOT lean before the camera pans on 2?
