This game series was no doubt the best.
My personal fav was TS2 because it just felt much more arcadey and had more to it (thats not saying future perfect was bad, but just not as good IMO)
Graeme Norgate, the person who made the music for all the TimeSplitters games has uploaded most of the tracks to Bandcamp.

I can't say for certain but I think the music quality of his uploaded songs are better than the ones on youtube.
Or you can go to TS Music Box, which has pretty much every song from Timesplitters up and is perfectly legal, though they may start removing stuff now that Graeme is uploading his stuff himself

Oh I've seen that before, that's where I downloaded all the songs so far! I just wanted to mention his uploads because you can listen to them or buy them and help support him. He did make a lot of great music. In the future I'll probably chip in a few dollars just to have the tracks in flac.

Virus on this map was SO AMAZING.

I remember when I was about 11 or 12 when my Dad found Timesplitters 2 at Gamestop in the bargain bin for 5 bucks (it had been out a while) and brought it home as a surprise.
I wasn't to enthused at first, considering I had never heard of it. I was actually expecting it to be kind of bad. I mean, how good could a 5 dollar bargain bin game be?
I was fucking blown away. I played it all that night, and the next day. I beat every level on every difficulty, made maps, levels, and thanked my Dad for getting me such an awesome game.
It is still on my shelf, a proud member of my library. However, my Xbox is fried so I cannot play it. 360 doesn't work with it either, but at least I can still look as the game case.

Exactly the same for me (only Gamestation instead of Gamestop and for PS2 for £3)
But yeah, played through them all now, I loved every minute, except Neo Tokyo.
I need to get my PS2 to work again and find a copy of Timesplitters 2
Loved every single moment of TS:Future Perfect, so I suppose I'll love 2

So I have a team around 20 men strong working on this as we speak, I could have a word and get some exclusive media just for this thread.

Also I admire your dedication to Timesplitters, I remember maybe two years ago you trying to rally everyone together to get Crytek to do something, and it has paid off, all the best on the fan game.

You guys were given permission to use the original assets, but are making your own anyway, correct? How exactly will that work with the voice acting? Are you just going to try to re-create it all, or what?

For anyone who's interested you can play Future Perfect on PCSX2, never used to be able to but I'm guessing they fixed it, as with most games.

PS2s/Xboxs are really cheap nowadays too, I got mine for £10
I know, but it's just for anyone that wants to play a shit version of the game with visual artefacts that make you think your GPU is melting, a framerate that changes randomly and certain effects that just don't even show up.

Playing it now I'm enjoying it just as much as I did back when I was a kid, also the aiming isn't stiff which makes a change, old games usually had stiff as fuck aiming on consoles.

Took awhile for me to reconfigure the controller and settings but after that it was a blast
