Man, I still want to get into a server that is decent.
Each server I have gone to is full of griefers, the one decent one I was in, I got accused of griefing and banned from it for some reason.
SMP is becoming a disappointment for the most part if this crap continues.

I like them too but at this moment it is so laggy, keeps disconnecting, griefers and and have missing features.
I still really enjoy the single player so I don't really miss SMP.
On other topic: I really REALLY hate creepers...
I got fucking lost for over an hour today because the diamond I was mining had nothing under for about 30 blocks and then I got swept downstream further into the cavern.

This right here is exactly what I have been saying will happen from the very beginning. Ever since Notch announced Indev was going to become Survival and made Multiplayer, I've been preaching to everyone who will listen that SMP will not work and there is no way for players to truly cooperate for more than ten minutes, and now I'm able to prove it. I said that griefing will not and can not be thwarted no matter how hard you or I or anyone tries, and I was right. If you build it, someone will burn it down. If you host it, someone will spam it. If you ban them, they'll be back. It's an alpha. Everything will eventually be fixed one way or another, but for now, I was right. This thread has been filled with people complaining about SMP and taunting each other with "private servers" that they eventually give out to everyone and I can't help but think that this is how I predicted it was going to turn out all along.

On Orki's private server, I've mined with some friends for hours on end, and worked together and shared like our lives depended on it. It was awesome. Try and stay away from pub servers.
I was on nisd's server a few days ago and now it seems to have completely overwritten itself, does anybody know what happened? did griefers really destroy everything ?..

i think you're using the wrong ip. replace 26 with 25. I can connect to his server fine.
