You can put a space between each ladder to save sticks.
I cant stand stuff like that though
All the dirt blocks around my house have to be grassy and all ladders must be full, if not it annoys the hell out of me. I cant really play minecraft without having to fix some imperfection

I agree, I always have to fully do the ladders, and a million other things have to be perfect. It's my OCD.

I'd save I have OCD but I haven't been diagnosed with it and people seem to get pretty touchy when people say they have it when its not confined or w/e

I don't think adding blocks would make the file size much bigger, but exploring would.
