For some reason it doesn't use your skin if you don't enter in your account name with the right capital letters. For example, doomish would give the default skin, but Doomish would give my regular skin. Dunno why but it happens and is weird.

skins are stored as an image of your name, like [url]http://minecraft.net/skin/citricsquid.png[/url] and they're case sensitive: [url]http://minecraft.net/skin/cItriCsquiD.png[/url] [b]however[/b] the minecraft account system isn't case sensitive. Loading skins is just done as "minecraft.net/skin/username.png" and if your username doesn't match the actual account one (with same case) it won't work.
