You can "bake" AO and such into the game's textures, but the Minecraft textures are so low res that it'd be pointless.

Well, I found 8 diamonds and made a pickaxe and a helmet. Then I tried opening Fraps to take a screenshot (print Scr wasn't working) and minecraft crashed.

we had an awesome castle too :crying:

which reminds me, there's a user called indykid or something like that who is a massive griefer -

first he dug straight down inside our castle walls "looking for iron" right in to our secret storage room

then he dug a tunnel through the hill under our castle because "he couldn't be bothered walking round"

he dug another tunnel out of the storage in to the open air (we had to fill all these tunnels in)

and THEN because we told him to get out he blew a hole in the side of our castle

I went in and killed the spiders with a clever technique

I took the stuff from the chests including the record seen in lower left corner

But then i found this green stuff on the rocks and i don't know what it is. What is it?

It's mossy cobblestone, you can only find it in dungeons, Notch will soon make it so that when you place cobblestone close to water it will eventually turn mossy. :smile:
