if it says path cannot be found then edit the start.bat and remove the (x68) in the java path.

There's a few ways of getting yourself items. For example you can use cheat engine to switch items from one ID to another. You can also use persister.jar to edit your inventory.

I can't click start server, it gives an error when I do so I don't know what to do.
Edit: Fixed, no more problems.

I was making a waterslide in my own SMP server. I died, spawned in nothingness and waited a bit but nothing happened. I disconnected and reconnected, but it generated a new level.
Is my old level gone forever?
