It's 8 bits to a byte, but that's not my point, it's the same scale used on Normal memory, 1024 bits to a kilobit, 1024 kilobits to a megabit.
Fuck, I make a post noting the differences between the speed test and my practical connection speed, and suddenly have people saying I need to correct my semantics on memory units.
