My server will be going up in the next few hours. Probably within the hour. Just need to do a few things first. Anyone know how to force the server to generate a new level ? And I assume moving the spawn isn't yet possible in SMP.

Its intended use is burning down leaves after you've taken the wood from the trees so that you won't have to wait for them to go away on their own. It has a use, you just don't see it in SMP because people are too busy using it for the wrong reasons.
