I downloaded the Bloom texture pack and when I look at a brick it looks like this

I want a private server as well. I would host my own, because I have a semi-decent internet service, but I have crappy computers. I have the best one in our house and it only has a single-core Celeron @2.4GHz, 2GB DDR RAM, and a GeForce 8400GS (PCI)... Just glad that I can run what I want on it really.

TNT was funny and fun the first day of SMP, but now it's just boring. It lags the server to fuck, aswell and kills everyone.

first question, do I make the building from Men in Black, or the forest from Legend of Zelda?
second question, do I do it in creative (much less time consuming, of course), or do I man up and do it in /game/?

It only kills the person who sets it off, and this was not near any construction. There were only like 5 people on the server, and they were all helping with the TNT. If anyone had been building, we wouldn't have done that.
I voiced some chicken sounds, but don't know what's Notch's email.
