If you live in Scandinavia I highly recommend ordering the game from Elgiganten.
They don't give a fuck about the release date, just got it in my mail today.
They don't have the Ultimate Edition though, which saddened me and then I realised I rarely play Ultimate Team.

My Pro is a right back, but after being sent out on loan, my Pro is the best player on the team and I could do with him up front. I know you could do it in FIFA 12, but I can't seem to find where you do it in 13.

It should be on one of the tabs of the editor. (Where you can change skin color and that sort of stuff)
Is this PC version the same as the console version? I heard they're different (as in the PC version being an unoptimized completely different thang)
runs pretty well for me, i5 2500k, 8gb of ram and a 560ti
it is just a straight console port though, nothing is different, and the control icons often come up with xbox buttons rather than keyboard buttons (although why would you play fifa on a keyboard) - also the online isn't as populated as the console versions of course

yeah, you can edit your pro from the career mode menu. but most of the options are locked and there's no tab for changing position. unless it unlocks as you progress. but it's kinda shit i can't swap my player to a more forward position. right now he's barely on the ball at all

Not played career mode at all yet, but from what you have described I doubt you can change it. Sounds pretty similar to FIFA 09/10 (can't remember which) where I had the same problem.
I hate the fact that there are now two separate pros for online clubs and offline career. I'm also sick of Ultimate Team already. Thank you EA for matching my 90% silver team to teams of 11 gold players. Every. Single. Fucking. Time. Yes I know there are silver tournaments to play, but I want to do the online season seeing as it is pretty lucrative with the season bonuses.
My Gold Team after one day, and £8 worth of packs, has the likes of
A Di Maria, Haguin, Terrelo? (90 pace), Essien

So what's actually so bad about Origin, other than it being rubbish in general? I'm hearing it scans your computer and reports it back to EA, can I get some confirmation on this?
Also how much is this an improvement over '12? Haven't played a Fifa game in a long time, except a short stint with '12, and I liked.
It plays much more realistically. Say you play as Barca in '12. You'd very easily be able to run through the entire dfence with Messi and tap the ball in after you round the keeper. Now though, the defence shut you out and try to contain you. You can still make a run like that, but they're much harder. And attacking wise, if you have the talent, your players will find the space they need to recieve a shot, or pull back for you to make a pass. overall it plays much more like a real game of football.

I believe the whole scanning thing was proved to be rumours or something if I remember correctly.
Honestly, there isn't much bad with Origin, it's just that it's a separate program we're going to have to run.
Personally it doesn't bother me but I can see why people might be annoyed at having to run another program to play other games.

Never do live commentaries unless you can speak openly with out wunbling sturds, without long pauses to concentrate, and without saying um and ah lots.
Personally I find I always cock up commentaries unless I'm with some one else. To get into a good habit of doing live commentaries, I muted my mic and spoke to myself. The more you know

If I where to do a commentary on my own, I would only speak in midfield, and even then I would always go on about how Chemistry is a pile of shit and how the Korean refs are always corrupt.

Firstly Sean Wright Philips and Bradley Wright Philips only have 6 chemistry together despite being, FUCKING RELATED; Chemistry also limits teams and by the end of FIFA 13 you will start to see copy paste teams from FUT head over and over again. Instead of Chemistry, each card should have a thing called form. Before you can sell a card you have to play 1 game with it - If you win that game the form goes up, if that card scored, assisted, defended or saved the form goes up. If the card missed, got a yellow, got sent off and so forth - The form goes down. This would make every player unique and FUCK CHEMISTRY[/sp]

They just added it in this years game. When your a manager you can manage international teams in the season breaks too.
I'm done with Ultimate Team. This season mode in FUT just sucks. Basically, you just play in League 4! against teams which are worth around 250.000+ with players full of pace.
Why did they just remove a normal kickoff with no force to play a season? And how has quite every player I play against teams with the biggest players in the game.
I'll try the virtual Bundesliga now, where every player has a 85 rating and basic attributes for his position, for example Goalkeepers have 85 Handling and a Striker has 90 Finishing. So there's no advantage of pace or anything else.
