His good transfers outnumber his bad ones, most of Liverpool's starting XI are Benitez buys.

I don't think that's the case. However, Xabi Alonso was bought by Benitez and look what a loss he was when he was sold.

Torres, Alonso, Agger, Skrtel, Reina were/are still pretty solid players.
Someone hacked me! They purchased [sp]£17[/sp] or MS Points and [sp]didn't spend any![/sp]s

Also I sprained my foot playing football, pretending to be Robinho.

Umm Xabi Alonso - Signed for £10.7m and sold for £30m if making 20 odd million pounds is a 'loss', I'll take three.
To keep going on what I think were great Rafa buys
Torres - Signed for £20m sold for £50m. Tore up at the club, will never perform the same again.
Reina - Signed for £6m, still at club, still #1 keeper.
Agger - Signed for £5.8m. Is the central hub of our defence now along with
Skrtel - Signed for £6.5m. Still part of the Great Wall of Anfield with Agger.
Kuyt - Signed for £9m and sold for £1m as his contract was up. Was an integral part of LFC. One of the few names I have on the back of a Liverpool shirt.
Johnson - Signed for £17.5m - Still at club, this England international is a unique part to the LFC puzzle, he can play Leftback/Rightback or push up to the midfield too.
Mascherano Signed for £18.6m, sold for £25m to Barcelona - One of my favorite players.
Obviously there a few purchases under every manager that are questionable, personally I dislike how Rafa spent so much on Aqualini but never used him and lets not even talk about the Robbie Keane situation.
Lost Money example
Buys Morientes for £6.3m, sold for £3m.
Made Money example
Buys Peter Crouch for £7m and sells him for £11m.
Benitez made some pretty strange transfers while at Liverpool though, David N'Gog anyone?
Ngog - Purchased for £1.5m, sold for £3m (albeit not during Rafa reign)
Can't understand the logic of Abramovich. RDM guided the club from a season without a trophy to winning the FA cup and the Champions League and gets the sack for a few bad results in November. I think maybe Abramovich wants a big name like Guardiola. He seemed to be holding out from offering RDM a decent contract at the end of the season until he was sure he couldn't get Guardiola.
Oh, and imo this is way better than Zlatan's goal:
He takes it down with his chest and it's way closer, you might think 10-20 meters isn't alot but it has a massive impact.
10$ says that he wouldn't even hit the target if it was from 30 meters.

Two trophies in six seasons isn't that great, especially considering how great the Liverpool team was back then.
07/08 & 08/09 he really should've won something.

Yep, that's the role of the defensive mid though. To not only get the ball off you but to get into the opponents head, Mascher did that better than a lot of other players.

Alright smartarse, if you read my comment properly you will have seen that I was referring to the positive impact that Alonso had that was lost when he was sold.
Torres, Mascherano and Kuyt are now no longer first team players. The comment I responded to stated that most of the starting XI are Rafa buys, which I correctly refuted.

Weak finish, you didn't refute anything. The statement was :
.. most of Liverpool's starting XI are Benitez buys.
Which is true.
Gerrard - Youth Development. 1
Agger, Skrtel, Glen Johnson, Lucas Leiva, Pepe Reina - All Rafa buys. 5
Suarez, Jose Enrique - Dalglish buys. 2
Allen, Sterling - Rodgers buys. 2
The last spot on the sheet is filled by either Suso/Assaidi or Downing (Rodgers and Dalglish buys)

HAHAHAHA, when grouped together, Rafa players are still the majority of players on the Liverpool team.
You do understand how majorities work, right?

Yes. The majority of the team were not bought by Rafael Benitez.
No point trying to argue with an idiot, especially on the internet.
This message is hidden because Mortson is on your ignore list.
50% of team are Rafa buys
25% are Dalglish buys
20% are Rodgers buys
5% is Gerrard coming up through the Youth System.
Rafa buys are the majority in this situation.
I don't try to be a "keyboard warrior", but surely someone else agrees with me that the majority of the team was not bought by Benitez?
Moving on, anyone else been impressed with Wigan this season? This might be the one where they aren't stuck at the bottom all season, scraping through on the last day of the season.
But I want another opportunity to use this:

So Rafa bought 5/11 players, yet somehow that's a majority?
thank god you don't work in politics
Newcastle got beat, Hearts are still 9th, Chelsea fans are still showing that they're classless fools and Neil Lennon cried because someone spoke ill of his precious team. Now that's a decent weekend of sport.

There was a picture of a guy with a sign that read ''Chelsea are EPIC, Rafa is not'' but I sadly can't find it.
0-0 against the current champions is, in my opinion, a good result. I didn't watch the game but regardless of how well they played, the fact that they didn't lose will make Benitez's job a lot easier.
If you're the best team in the world you should be beating the national champions.
But Chelsea aren't the best in the world, or Europe. They only won the Champions League through luck.

Why do they hate Benitez already? Wasn't he just assigned?
Sorry. I don't know such things about the Premier league because i follow the Eredivisie.
The Chelsea board (AKA Tsar Abramovich) sacked Di Matteo and signed Benitez as interim manager. Chelsea ''fans'' spend more time protesting Benitez' appointment rather than the Tsar's trigger happy employment strategies.

No worries, we all appreciate good Football here. Anyhoo, to get away from the suffocating topic of Chelsea, I bought tickets for the Edinburgh derby earlier, cannot wait for Sunday.

Hibs will be all over that game. Leigh Griffiths will more than likely score. Again
I'm just waiting for Rangers to thump Elgin for the debacle they had last Sunday. Trying to cash in on the huge support of Rangers by pushing prices up and selling too many tickets. And for Lee McCulloch to score his 20th of the season, ha. One of the top scorers in Europe right now. To be expected tbh with Rangers in the lowest div of Scottish football now
