What's a good animal hunting game?(PC) - Games

I'm in the Hunter right now (Just finishing up the install). Us Facepunchers should make like a hunting clan or something so we can do it together.

I cant even log in to the hunter to download it, keeps saying Server Capacity Full. This game looks amazing, i really do want to play it :(

Now I wonder what the first Far Cry would look like with Just Cause engine... The Hunter looks lovely.

The CryEngine is much better. It was just made to suit the hardware of the time. For a current-gen implementation of it, see CryEngine 2.

Bredirish, it isn't online multiplayer. The server population makes up a kind of social networking service type thing, keeping track of kills and scores and such. That is the only way you can start up the game, also. Sadly, the game is offline for the most part. I'm fairly certain you never play with/against other people. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

I think the "Mission" hunts are single player. I'm still quite unsure about freely hunting with a friend.

The server capacity thing is killing me, but I used to have cabella's on the original xbox, it's a fantastic game. You can drive vehicles and use bows, too.

I'm gonna try that 'THe Hunter' game. Looks like fun, and I normally don't like hunting games.

I tried 5 times and I got in. I hope I can download the game quickly with my 100Mbit FTTH connection ( downloading 6GB in 15 minutes from Usenet is fucking win ).
