Probably the worst 3-D Zelda, still worth playing though.
It was a very enjoyable game and worth playing if you enjoyed previous Zelda games, if you didn't enjoy them don't even bother.
However, For people who have already finnished the game
[sp]It pissed me the off when Zant randomly becomes a total pussy and then it's all hurr durr Ganon is the last boss AGAIN out of fucking thin air, Zant was a good enough villian and they had no bloody reason to suddenly reuse a charater who has been done to death, was it really the only plot twist Nintendo was capable of coming up with?[/sp]
I don't know about you guys, but I quit at that part when [sp]You turn into a dog[/sp]
turning into the dog isn't a spoiler, unless you were joking, which makes sense
I agree with Crabs partially. I like that gannon was still around, because he was never definitively dead yet. But you did completely kill him at the end of the game.
But why did Zant have to be such a whiny bitch when you finally fought him.
Good game.
Play the gamecube version preferably, the Wii version is identical, but with the asinine Wii controls.
Worst 3D game easily.
MOST of the items are complete garbage, never to be used outside of the dungeon you find them in, and it's got no color or humor that the other games had. It seemed to hard to try and be as dark and edgy as possible.
Dominian rod or whatever it's called is the worst piece of shit item in -any- of the games.
That disk rod thing isn't fun to ride unless edges are nearby and it looses steam easily and quickly
The clawshots can't connect to shit and are only used for puzzles, never used to quickly zip across the land.
Also nintendo apparently didn't care about how they presented it as I remember the back of the box showing link with a magic meter that isn't in the game. Overall it's a terrible zelda game but a very mediocre adventure game
One of the best Zelda games. When you finish 2 mazes you'll find hard objetives.
It's the best game on wii, at least the games I tried on Wii.

It's great, but SMG(2) takes the prize.
Amazing game.
It's great but I preferred wind waker
It's better than Twilight anyway.
That doesn't really say anything, does it? :v:
yes it does suck
[editline]03:59PM[/editline]
Why rate me bad? The controls are awful, and the puzzles suck ass.
I wouldn't say it's bad but it's probably my least favorite 3-D Legend of Zelda game on the consoles. (Out of OoT, MM, WW and TP.)

You suck ass.
It's worth playing. If you're not sure whether to get it, hence the thread, then just give it a shot. It is a great game, just not as good as some of the others.

Spoiler tags next time, please.
Twilight Princess was fucking great imo.
The worst game is not TP, I do have to say it's either Zelda 2 because it's just SO HARD (I'm sure the people better at that game enjoy it more than me), or Phantom hourglass. Don't get me wrong, that game was a blast, but defiantly not as good as some of the others.
It's really pretty good. Doesn't hold a candle to Wind Waker, though.

Apparently, you didn't play the game much. The magic meter most definitely was in the game.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Really? Well, please tell me what it was used for, i do not remember myself.
/offtopic
That depends really, if you think of it as an adventure game of a completely new franchise, with no games before it you can compare it to, it would be very good.
However, if you compare it to other Zelda games, it does not fare quite so well.
It's awesome. Probably one of the best games on the Wii/Gamecube. Plus I like the graphics for it.
somewhat related, am i the only one totally not excited for skyward sword?
somewhat related, am i the only one totally not excited for skyward sword?
Depends on what you mean by "not excited". I'm not really excited for it, but I'll get it for sure on release.
If you mean worried, well a bit. On one side it's that full motion control that I can't see fully working, see the demonstration by Miyamoto himself (although people later said that the controls worked fine when they tried them).
On the flipside, they made traveling with a train fun, so I'm looking forward to it.
And as said, Twilight Princess is a very good game, compared to other Zeldas it's weaker though.

I'd say Spirit Tracks is worse than Phantom Hourglass.
It was okay. It's certainly no Ocarina of Time. I'd say I enjoyed it the least, probably because there's really nothing new going on. For the first time, I actually don't care that a new Zelda is coming out.
If they had taken the futuristic approach like the April Fools trailer joke, then I'd be interested.
care to give a link on that aprils fools trailer?

I liked this game ,I was finally able to play my launch copy after 4 years just getting wii this year, I just beat it few days ago, and I was satisfied , sure OoT was better, It was pretty enjoyable
except.. I wanted more side quests
Twilight Princess was a good game but it felt like it stole way too much from Ocarina of Time.
