Man, all I want to know really is: A. Are we going to really have a fully differed renderer? B. Are we going to have a different setting than the jungle? Seriously, Crytek, I love you but don't make three games in the row with the SAME setting.
The first videos showing off the new engine awhile back seemed to show them in a big city, jumping off a broken highway if I remember.
We need to figure out that password!
Am I the only one that thought the aliens were awesome. :v:
Crysis 2 wouldn't be right if it was set anywhere other than the jungle.
I hate text on backgrounds:
Hmm, I would Like to see More weapons, and city landscape. free roam ftw
Anyone in this thread who says the old nanosuit was better you're obviously one of those retards who don't like changes.
Anyone in this thread who says the old nanosuit was better you're obviously one of those retards who don't like changes.
You're a twat
You're a twat
No I'm not. It's a fucking model, wait till you get actual details about it then you can complain.
I liked the little video showing off the new suit like in the first game
No I'm not. It's a fucking model, wait till you get actual details about it then you can complain.
You are really stupid. It's just aesthetics, and the new model looks like a suit for a midget with retarded silver highlights.
I sent an email asking for a cupholder in nanosuit 2. Used the crynetsystems thing and it said "your message has been send" I wonder if that's intentional or what.
the legs on that Nanosuit look so short and stubby.
You guys have high poly standards! (pun intended)
You are really stupid. It's just aesthetics, and the new model looks like a suit for a midget with retarded silver highlights.
It's a fucking FPS. When do you ever see the suit unless your in the editor, what I'm saying is it's nothing to go cutting yourself over.
You may like your games to look stupid but I would rather not.
It's a fucking FPS. When do you ever see the suit unless your in the editor, what I'm saying is it's nothing to go cutting yourself over.
you forget that you have team mates wearing the same fugly armor as well. we'll have to see them wearing it too.
You may like your games to look stupid but I would rather not.
I don't care what a game looks like as long as it has good gameplay. Amen. [editline]12:12AM[/editline]
you forget that you have team mates wearing the same fugly armor as well. we'll have to see them wearing it too.
Razors are in the bathroom.

password is "your message has been send"
It's a fucking FPS. When do you ever see the suit unless your in the editor, what I'm saying is it's nothing to go cutting yourself over.
Nobody is, you're allowed to have an opinion about something that means almost nothing. Trot on.
Hell Yes, Crysis was (and still is) awesome. [editline]12:28AM[/editline] Also is Cryenging 3 being used for this? Because as far as I'm concerned it's just a more optomised cryenginge 2.
I hope they make the suit modes more like MODES instead of highly situational gimmicks. Speed mode was useless because everything you ran into while going fast killed you, you didn't have armor, and the speed boost was pretty small and lasted only a few seconds (while it took like 10 seconds to recharge). Strength Mode was useless because to get even close enough to attack you had to have armor mode off (which again, makes you die fast on any difficulty other than easy). Throwing/hitting objects wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do in 99% of situations especailly since your throws were only about 2x more powerful which isn't much (except for grenades), jumping drained WAY too much energy for the small x2 boost it was, etc. Cloak mode was almost over-powered. As long as you had it on for the very brief time it was active before you drained, you would instantly be 100% invisible to all enemies. Cheap, lame, and not very satsifying. Especailly since in mutliplayer you were actually EASIER to see with cloak than without in most cases. I'd like for them to actually make the suit modes true "MODES" and not quick situational powerups. In Crysis you never had a real reason to be on anything other than Armor mode or cloak. They should make it so the sprint time with speed mode is MUCH longer, with the energy recharging faster in speed mode as well. Make it also you don't take collision damage in speed mode (unless you get ran over somthing like a tank obviously). Strength mode should be much more powerful too, so I can actually want to use it over armor mode. Make it so shooting with strength mode (which in Crysis made you aim better), doesn't drain your energy super fast, and make it so you don't take fall damage with strength mode. Make it so making two jumps doesn't drain your energy completely. Cloak mode should last A LOT longer too, at the cost that enemies can now see the cloak if they are close-ish. That would make it much more interesting and less situational. Especailly if the level designers make good use of the different modes. I remember in Crysis before it being released being told that when you meet the aliens you'll need to use all your modes to survive. Whatever happened to that? At the end of the game it was even easier (and more stupid) to do anything but stay in armor mode and cloak occasionally.
Yes you could have played the whole mode in stealth/armor but it would make it boring. The entire point of the suit system was to create diversity and re playability to the levels, so you can decide what to do and not be confined to one path or style. Can anyone sum up the new features?
The new nano suit looks gay as fuck
I'm going to contact them, here is the email I'm going to send
Sender: Mr. Drake Collins Subject: Intrest in purchasing a Nanosuit for industrial use. Message: Hello, I run a small cargo firm out of the Southeastern United States and was wondering about purchasing a Nanosuit for commercial use. Please Contact me at the included email address if needed. Thank you.
Should I? [editline]08:07PM[/editline]
Your message was send.
wat

You're basically asking for the mods in Crysis to be overpowered.

But then everyone would camp in cloak mode [editline]09:24PM[/editline] make it so when you're in strength mode, it drains slowly, and punches/jumps/shooting guns barely takes any of it away (like 0.75% for a punch, 2% for a jump, 0.1% for one shot)
