Well the new one does say it can wishstand everything short of a battlefield nuke, that means you are SUPPOSED to look like a huge lumbering brute.
IE: Biological tank :D
If I wanted to be a stupid looking brute I'd go play gears of war.

I wouldn't call the Nanosuit 2 a technological improvement if they just made it bigger. That's like saying a big apple is different than a little apple, when it isn't, it just has more to eat on it. Whereas the ns2 just has more muscles and more energy. (I guess they were right when they said it's hard to improve perfection.)

I thought killing aliens was quite OK, it just needed one good jungle mission with them. Like Warhead had. Trigens were shit though

Uhm, they were mutants in Far Cry.
Besides that, if the whole game was just mercs it would've gotten boring around the Rebellion level. You may not like the fact that they switched it up, but they did it to add difficulty and variety to the gameplay.
I thought the aliens in Crysis were great as well. If the aliens weren't there, Crytek wouldn't of had a valid explanation for showing off their ability to make levels with ice in them.

Crysis 2 will probably be good, but that Nanosuit 2 is more funny than cool-looking. I mean, seriously, is the main character 3 feet tall or something? The suit's so damn short.

I strongly agree with this post.
Although the suit looks retarded. i that it was already clearly stated before that it was made bigger to make more sense with proportions of the human body. They just wanted to make it look like somone could fit in there. I still prefer the old though. Looks more sneaky and cool then N2.
