Is there a faster way to lower neutrality so I can declare war on some people? I can't do anything because my neutrality is like 90 right now.
Just read through all the Slavic War updates. Very cool thread, OP. I don't know if you have already decided or what, but you should build up a navy and research for a large-scale assault on North Africa.

most people are just hitting Alt + 21 to open the console, and typing in 'noneutrality'. I use that, because the neutrality does nothing to add to gameplay other than getting in the way.

Welp it's looking like game over.
Long story short Germany smashed spain. I took the south of Portugal for Yugoslavia (Including Lisbon!) then the USA D-days and took the north-west end of France, and advance around halfway across france before Germany reacted.
Then the game crashes on the 28th May 1940. Each time. :(
Can you do an Oregon Trail thread then? If so, I call the first slot for a name!

Indeed, you should do another one of these, you are good at them. Either restart on HoI, or Oregon Trail, or maybe something else.

Something you could do that I've seen other people try but never follow up on is a council thing. Choose a country, recruit like 4 or 5 people for the council into a Steam group or something, and consult the council on the things you do. Then post updates like normal. Potential to be very cool.
To be honest, I've actually been preparing an Oregon Trail thread, can you give me some pointers as to how to write an entertaining, yet functional, AAR thread?
I mean prepare as in I have the Emulator, the game (both discs) and the means to convert images into one's transferable unto Facepunch.
I don't understand how officer ratio works. Can anybody help, please?

There's already one on FP, just search for it and copy how that person did it.

I don't own this game, but it probably means Officer:Soldier Ratio. The more officers you have, the better your troops are in terms of leadership, tactics, morale, etc.

That screenshot is me part-way through my HoI2 AAR with Germany starting in 1936. I've done fairly well and tried to be as historic as possible though my IC has been bottlenecked by my rares now. At one point I had 680 IC which was AWESOME. I'm slowly defeating Russia but will it be fast enough? Not sure.
I'll post that thread later.

No one will trade any rares with me. The only countries that stockpile it enough for it to be worthwhile to trade are Russia and Brazil. Brazil barely give me any and Russia hate me (because I DoW'd them). USA also hate me.

Not really, I still have a fairly good intake of rares, just not enough to support my monstrous IC. 680 factories is not even feasible if you're Russia. Also, manpower is so low that there's no point in spending IC on production. Only upgrades and reinforcements are necessary.
Is this really the end of great Yugoslavia?
Please continue this AAR. It was great reading.
