I hate it because other companies see how making a generic shooter with super tacticool guns work so we'll see more and more generic shooters with super tacticool guns. Look at medal of honor.
Only reason why I don't play it is because of 90% of the players in multiplayer noobtube
I completely agree, it feels like that I'm a fucking actor in a Michael Bay movie.
Its overrated, overhyped, unbalanced multiplayer, lacks authentic or original gameplay, most people only play it to fit in or "be cool", plus the community is made up of dumb jocks and brain-dead rednecks that think this game is the best thing ever to happen to gaming
Couldn't agree more with this post.
This game caused me more frustration than anything that I have ever played.
What you mean tiny campaign? The Game Has Decent Size of missions/levels plus it is a very good campaign with a nice twist
Am I the only one who felt ''meh'' throughout the campaign?
I didn't even buy this game for the campaign, I bought it for MP, and I played that for 2 nights before the servers overloaded and then I beat Campaign which wasn't all that good. A few months after staying up until 2 every morning I was done.
I personally like Modern Warfare. I'm only disappointed that the game hardly changes with each new game. So I only have the first one.
Fast, actiony and I can jump in whenever I want.
I might get Black Ops, but I'll wait and see if "Future Warfare" is a rumor or not.
It was a total letdown compared to the milestone it's predecessor set back in 2007. Since then, every game out there seems to have a grasp on the coat tails of the modern warfare series. I personally don't like it because of it's more so than usual easily agitated player base. You don't see as much kids on the PC platform compared to the 360 or PS3 systems albeit; but the people can be just as annoying. When I play a game, not only do I try to enjoy it for what it's worth; I also try to find enjoyment out of everyone else having a great time. And that's not there.

Funny, the only reason I play is to use danger close and the noobtube.
Oh. This thread again.
Activision fucked IW up, got 90% of personnel who contributed to the game to leave and then made the rest start making MW3.
Activision = Dicks.
Also, MW2 was overpriced and still is, including all of the tiny DLC.
Blowing up the ISS :wtc:
It's "cool."
$60 for a shell of what it could be on the PC.
Overhyped.
Bad community.
etc.
I really like MW2 because I'm not a fat neckbeard and I actually like games for the enjoyment and not just to bandwagon
the only thing I dislike is goddamn 10 year olds and douche jocks
I think MW2 is a solid game, but it has a lot of imbalances that keep it from being great.
It's a good generic shooter I find. The only problem I have with it is when people abuse the tube, other then that I have fun with it. Hackers too, but even then, you can beat the lot of them. As for the DLC, I don't see myself ever paying for it, and it's still a fun game.
I dont understand why they nerf 1887's but leave G18s, noobtube/oma nootube and hackers alone.

You blow up the ISS? What the fuck? What possible reason could they come up with for that?
I truly believe the game is good it's just the community. Think about it the only reason why you hate it so much is because of the way you die. I get pissed off a lot because of people noob tubing spawn or riot shield/c4'ing etc.
$30 for 2 DLCs that adds 10 maps that should have been in the game to start with.
Thanks but Activision and Infinity Ward can go fuck themselves.
how is this relevant at all to the point i made
if you aren't happy with the map prices don't buy them
I feel that if everybody didn't instanttly buy the maps it would have sent Activision the message that people weren't going to pay for them. Of course people did though so obviously they're going to keep doing it.
You blow up the ISS? What the fuck? What possible reason could they come up with for that?
dude who cares its just a game
My only problem with the game is the community tbh.
I tend not to worry about the DLCs since they never get chosen on map rotations and if they do, everyone just skips anyway.
I think the multiplayer is overrated and filled with too much tubing and generally annoying little things. I enjoyed the singleplayer and playing special ops with my friends though.
I hate it because everyone thinks they know all about guns after they play MW2.
I dare you to walk up to a marine and call him a noob for using a grenade launcher. :colbert:

Oh god this.
Wtf? Everyone just hates MP but SP is just awesome action movie!
Call of Duty 4 was better, that's my problem.
Shouldn't the new game be better than the old one?
SP was average, Of course it didn't help that my friend spoiled the fucking plot twist BEFORE THE GAME WAS RELEASED.
And then there's too many hackers and you always get shit ping and it's unbalanced in the MP
-Overpriced DLC that should've been in the game to start with
-Unbalanced multiplayer
-4 hour campaign
-$60
-No skill, whoever meets opponent first wins
-Rushed by publisher
-PC version completely gutted
-Most of IW left because of Activision and this game
-$60
-Encourages other publishers to make PC games $60
-Activision
-Terrible community
-Activision
-Oh, and Activision
That sums it up.
Sums up what I was going to say :v:.
I bought it some days after it was released.
Actually I only bought it for the Campaign.
And to play on private matches with friends.
campaign blows, it's 7 hours long and the plot is so bad it's not even funny. the gameplay's not even good, as it consists of shooting respawning enemies until someone yells "go go go".
multiplayer runs smooth at 60 fps, which is about the only thing I like about it. Otherwise it's full of poorly designed maps (Wasteland especially), overpowered perks and weapons, killstreak rewards are the spawn of satan and the community consists of jocks and 12 year olds who think CoD is the best game ever.
The reason we hate it is everyone who plays on consoles loves it.
It's really badly designed on PC as well so you need monster PCs and connection to play it for some reason o.o
And I hate the people who play it, and 80% of players are 10 - 14 year olds who think Call of Duty is the BEST and the ONLY game ever (and the only FPS game).. which doesn't make sense for an 18+.
Does anyone hate it when you're around some MW2 players and all they say is "Pavelow 25 kill streak tactical nuke red dot sight silenced spas vector UMP noobs noobtube rust noscope intervention tactical knife C4 akimbo MP5K *gaaaasp* owned online new map famas noob gun M4A1 thermal sight...."
I hear all this so much I practically know it all D:
Soooo overrated!!
It's actually just as bad on consoles, frankly. Also, I just met a guy who was saying the F2000, the SCAR, the ACR, and the TAR-21 are made up guns.
Unbalanced multiplayer prevents me from playing it casually because the regular players know what all the overpowered weapons and perks are, and I don't have a chance.
