Just bought the game, it's really fun to play. But where do I get coal and ores and shit. I've been mining forever but I haven't really found anything yet except for some zombies and spiders. :saddowns:

If you don't like the current textures, there are retexture packs... I prefer the originals though, because the game is meant to look the way it looks.

Textures are fine, i love the textures. There's more to graphics than the textures.

Coal is normally found on ground level in mountains but can be found undergroud too, it looks like a normal stone with little dark spots. Iron is normally found on underground caves and you need to smelt the ore before using it.

You oughtta stumble upon them. Making a stripmine is a good option to eventually stumbling upon coal.
Also, nights without torches are fucking terrifying.
