That's what I generally use for the side of walkways/roads. Then again, the walkways are plank blocks, so I dunno how that would work out if everything was cobblestone/stone.

Notch hasn't talked all day on twitter or his blog and I haven't seen him on IRC and the rest of yesterday, so I think that he is working hard on something, or he's sad. :saddowns:

Once Notch adds in mobs to SMP, I'll be content for a long time.
This is my friend's server, you may have seen him around on Facepunch, his name is Pvt. Banana. Thats him building Megaman. He also did the Link and the Mario that was blocked by the tree, I did the Raccoon Mario.

there should be a pvp system that when you try to kill someone in a city, you wont die, but if you're outside of the city you can kill people
Well, some guy named "Floop" just joined the server me and my friend were on (nobody gave him the link, so I don't know how he got it) and started deleting all our shit. He got to everything but my Mario (which was a fair distance away from the other shit) before my friend perma'd him, so watch out. Fucking griefers.
