Ok, this is pissing me off, i started a new world but i keep freezing at random times, i can still interact with the world but i can't move, i have to reload the level but it happens again in like 2 minutes, how can i fix this?

I reckon I'd be cool if you could hang up armour or weapons on a wall, which would useful because I have gold armour and it's useless but it looks awesome with my texture pack.

My best answer: Start a new save.

Anyone have a guide for adding path parameters for the server jar? Thing keeps bitchin about "NOT ENOUGH RAM! QUICKLY, DOWNLOAD 20 MORE GIGS OF IT!!"

Sounds like any other (even public) server I've played on.

Goddamn it, sometimes I just don't understand my parents. The other day they told me that "I'm going away to college in less than 6 months in Wisconsin, the least I could do is be more social with them". So just now I stood up from my computer, stopped playing Minecraft, and went to hang out with them. Alright guys, I saw this like 4 threads ago, and now its happened to me. I was playing, then all the sudden my whole computer crashed, and I come back and my save isnt there. I go into my saves, its there, and now Im asking what you do to make it see it again?

There's two things you can do and there's a chance that neither of them will work: 1. Copy the world folder and paste it somewhere else (keep the original in the folder), then go into the game and load the save where the world WOULD be, and it may just come back up. 2. The harder option is to copy your saves, delete the ENTIRE MINECRAFT FOLDER, reopen the game so the stuff redownloads, then paste your saves back in the folder. Like I said, there's a chance that neither of them will even work. If they don't you're basically screwed. :smith:

Ive been gone for a week and there is a new server client. Now when i start the server, the server console thing still works and says done loaded, blah blah, but when i connect, it takes forever and says error connect. Its the correct ip and all, nothing has changed. This is for SMP by the way. Any idea how i can fix this?
