I plan on making a giant pen for animals to live in when i wall off my complex. That and a farm and such. Gotta have cows on a farm!

Animals despawn after awhile though, sadly. I hope Notch fixes that or adds animal cages where they wont despawn.

My small fortress on top of a mountain seems to be a chicken-sanctuary. Every time I walk inside the fortress or leave it for a while and come back, the yard is full of chickens.

If you're not sure if it went through or not, you can just look at the pending approvals box at the bottom of the page. This is what it shows so far:
