B = boots
S = spring
Spring boots allow you to jump higher and farther, run faster, and not have to jump to go up hills (i.e. 1 block gaps would work like half blocks)
(but they could wear out like tools)
Because then we could jump across the roofs of houses we build, like it's assassin's creed or prince of persia

Lol, you can cheat in SMP. Get 6 treetrunks then open up Cheat Engine or your prefered editor, and then search 6, drop one, search 5, drop one and search 4.
Notch should make the inventory serverside.
