Same. I've overdosed on MP this past week and now lost all enthusiasm.
Hopefully the next few patches will rekindle my love of blocks.

I tryed using a cartograph to see if it makes a map , it did , but for some reason , where my castle was standing there is nothing but a big hole , here is the map

You just run it. Right click it and hover over open with and go to Java Platform SE Binary. That's it. It'll save your inventory for that server forever. That's all you have to do, though some people have had problems with it in the past.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure. You just asked for the download :P
I'm sure someone knows what to do with it.
It's fun to collect resources for one minecraft day, then build an underground vault and never return to the surface.

Does it save into a folder or something? I tried that and it doesn't do anything.

But his save isn't showing up, so the chunks are probably corrupted.
(...)
you can try replacing level.dat in the world folder with the level.dat_old file (rename)
Does it save into a folder or something? I tried that and it doesn't do anything.
It just saves to the files in the .jar, no specific folder or anything. All persister.jar is is a modified version of Minecraft.jar. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you, this happens for some people.
Where can i find the level.dat?
%appdata%\.minecraft\saves , just put that in Run (windowskey+R) and then pick the folder of what world you are on.
