NEW BACON ISLAND:
Those who frequent Profan's second server will know how much of a trainwreck our little waypoint became. Well, TheSoupNazi, Pulz-somethingorother, myself and a couple of others took the time to TEAR DOWN THE STRUCTURE COMPLETELY and build a nice little island settlement, almost like a holiday resort away from the metropolitan behemoth Paradise Falls has become. So without further ado, the pics:

A sign to let new arrivals (that we trust; we're escorting newcomers ourselves) know they're in the right place.

This is a dock just on the beach for people who aren't staying long. The staircase leads up to the main settlement.

And here's the main settlement itself. The houses have a nice cobblestone base, wood body theme to them. Te dark tunnel is the entrance to the mine.

Here's the house I built myself, complete with three useful items inside (two of which don't work in SMP :v:).

This is the main dock, in a small bay. It comes with crafting tables for repairs (in case anyone breaks their boat on arrival :P).

And here's the mine itself, which we haven't actually had to use yet. All the stone we used was left over from the deconstruction of the previous, huge, unfinished building on Bacon Island.
We [i]did[/i] have a pig problem which appears to have stopped, but you can never be too careful. Maybe one day Bacon Island will live up to its name?

From mc forums
First you will need to download this: [url]http://kingsandwich.com/mc/persister.jar[/url] which lets you keep your inventory on a server when you disconnect, you will still lose it if you die.
Next just run persister and join a server of your choice, then after a few seconds disconnect. Now press windows key & r on your keyboard and run %appdata% find the .minecraft folder which is in the "roaming" folder.
Once there you will find some files called something like mpsave_*server ip*. Open the one which matches the ip of the server that you were on in notepad.
Delete what is in the file and paste this over it for a ready to go inventory:

Now save that file and exit notepad. Right click on the file that you just edited, click properties and tick the box that says "Read-only" now click ok.
You can now join that same server again and you should have some nice items :) (you may need to wait just a few seconds for it to appear)
It may not work if you die before the world loads, but if you do die and lose your inventory just rejoin the server.

I hate having OCD or whatever, my inventory HAS to be fully organized.
If you look at in my closet all my shoes are perfectly organized. :byodood:

Hey, could anyone help me? I've got a few server's info that I'm trying to join, but all of these servers when I try to connect my game just goes black. I don't get an error on the client, but on the website it crashes and i get an error message that I can't scroll through.
I searched the minecraft forums but I either found threads with no solution or a thread where someone fixed it but didn't tell what they did to fix it.
Please help, I can't play SMP :(
