Meh. I tried Minecraft once, I didn't get why everyone thinks it's so awesome. I personally didn't think it was that special. I don't know, maybe I didn't do it correctly or something, but I'm not buying this and will probably only play if someone buys it for me, wich wont happen.

U probably only played the creative free mode on the site. The alpha is still being worked on and Notch is good about getting friday updates out. The alpha is more about surviving the world with resources you have to collect using tools you have to build.
The free creative mode is artsy fartsy.

Were their mobs? Some people like to play on peaceful... cuz they're weak. Mobs are the real challenge of the game. If mobs were on and you were still bored then I recommend challenging yourself. Try to build something amazing with mobs on.. or a town that's mob free at night, or make the town but don't make it mob proof then walk the town at night and try to survive the whole night without building anything.
Really your just suppose to do whatever you want, build an underground utopia, a city that floats in the clouds, and impenetrable castle whatever you can think up, if it's still not fun then maybe the game isn't for you.
I wish mobs attacked buildings. Because in survival I was indefinitely invincible after making a domeof dirt.

Well notch did say he was going to add a red moon night where it's a zombie horde and they can break blocks and stuff... no if only there was a green moon night where it was creeper horde....
