Take the server's world file, name it to something like World5
Replace world 5 with the server world5, and load up cartographer.

there is a World folder in the same directory as the server, put that in the custom world thing

A friend bought me Minecraft, and i'm trying to set up a survival server, but i can't get it to work properly. Time is not progressing, its permanently day, and there are no animals/monsters? How do you configure your server to run either Survival or Creative?
I don't know why but I had a game idea that would be kinda cool in Minecraft:
Creepers Versus Humans:
The objective of the game is to kill all creepers or humans first, but it would be cool if it was in an arena, a tiny forest, or a cave.
Mob and the night cycle to not work for the time being.

survival multiplayer only has day and no monsters are in it, and a lot of it does not work yet.
creative is complete different server running software

Oh damn, it should say that on the download page or something. Anyway, so what is it currently running? Some weird mix of survival and creative? Health is still working, but there is not normally health in creative mode, as far as i know.
