I hid a couple iron blocks around the map, and the ones you can take are indicated by wood on both sides of it.

I just saw another creeper in that exact same spot the next night nodding its head. I'm gonna do some digging there.
Edit: Also, is it normal to hear zombies when underground?

So, I have a 9800GTX, and every other time I play minecraft it runs faster than normal. Not like a speedhack, but like playing a video at 2x speed.
How can I fix this without restarting my PC every single time?

This happens to me all the time, I normally keep INVedit open so I can replace whatever I lost.

I tried to marvel at the pure size of the city when I first joined but it didn't send and I just kind of wandered around until it DC'ed

Already did that twice and I keep dying whenever I start playing. The only difference being that I spawn at the new spawn location after I die.

Yeah I hope they get persister back to functionality soon, it's obnoxious having to get more tools every time.
