If anyone with a server wants to create a Cartograph image every x seconds for a timelapse or something I cooked up this batch file

Put it in a .bat file in your server folder

Set the correct path for Cartograph and maybe customize the render settings

I've been fiddling around with the Persister but I point the main class to the new Launcher. I guess I suck.

I tried bypassing the version checker but with the new launcher it still fails.

In case you all don't know, you need Apache ANT to compile the Persister using a command line like "ant -buildfile C:\Persister\src\build.xml"

We still need to fix these prices... Sand should be worth almost to anything. Trees should be worth less. Prices are still going to vary depending on supply and demand so I think a standard price is a bad idea because it will always change.

That won't get you anywhere

that means 64 sand is worth a diamond, I could get that sand VERY easily, Diamond is at least 128 times harder to get.

Currency is a bad idea, bartering is better. People usually share anyway, except for higher level ores and such.
