Cliff racers are the most annoying things in morrowind because you cannot hit them in some areas but they can hit you, they sometimes come in pairs of 2 and give you diseases In game, and plus they have the most annoying sound when they attack!

I haven't really played for too long and was wondering, are there specific levels you'll find stuff at? My friend told me to look for dirt veins and around there should be iron, but most of the time I just find coal, which I have plenty of.

I tried connecting to a server and it said "outdated client"
There's a part in the water where my game pretty much dies. I get about 0.3 fps. Anyone have any idea why? It's on the water.

Persister is giving me an error code of sorts? Is it only usable if connected with the actual minecraft.jar? I was under the belief that it works standalone...

Houston, we have a problem.
MineCraft's server software has holes. Very large holes. Like your mother.
How do I know this? Because earlier, while on Profan's SMP server, MSE pops up with a warning saying "Minecraft.exe has been terminated. Trojan detected." and shows "Trojan:Rowindal.A" as the virus. It had been loaded from the server to my PC.
Luckily, it's a very small, relatively useless virus from like three years ago, and can't do much now because the security hole's been patched, but the fact that the virus was actually detected on my PC is disturbing.
I have contacted Notch about this, and... I advise you play on SMP private servers or stay away from Multiplayer until this is resolved.
