It always says that even if it's only for a second. Just because it is 12:01 AM on Friday morning for you does not mean the update is coming out.

Mine did that earlier when Notch went on an updating spree.
It's not the friday update, it's just fixes/additions to many SMP things.

My shop on Nerdys server is for Farming supplies, food and tools.
I sell stackable items in piles of 16 or 32 (or 64 of course if you buy that amount).
Raw wood, bricks, glass, seeds, bamboo, cacti, hoes, shovels and axes - Basically everything a farmer might need.
I also trade for Gold/Iron/Diamond or I can trade bulk stock for various stacks of other items (ie 4 stacks of Cobble for a stack of Brick and a stack of Glass) - I have plenty of Diamond and Iron to go around in Block or Bar form, depending on what you need.
