That map is oddly shaped. It looks almost like it's a key. A funny looking key.

For the friday update I'm hoping for some sorts of decoration, like furniture.

If you read the faq on minecraft.net, you can see that he has a ton of plans to do with minecraft for when he finishes creative and SMP completely. I'd say that minecraft will be around for another 4 or 5 years until it dies down.

That's already $770,000 or so. 40% of that is $308,000, so Notch is making more than a quarter of a million dollars a year off Minecraft, I don't know what your economic status is, but by my standards that's pretty fucking good.

Its not that Notch will stop working on it, its that people will stop playing. Updates is good and all but people wont give their attention that long

Notch is pretty rich though, now that I think about it. He's not one of those snobby asshole rich people though.
