I would prefer a nice polished update than something rushed like powered minecarts. I know its Alpha and everything but I doubt Notch will have time to work on SMP, Friday updates AND fix the half finished stuff. Something's gotta give.

I'm frankly annoyed. This is his first real blunder, and so far this game has been better then expected, with non-friday updates as well as SMP early. Why was SMP early? [i]Because we asked[/i]. He's been doing such a great job, I can't help but feel a little frustrated with all this rage.
I am disappointed, but this won't last more than an hour if at all. I'm content with SMP at the moment.

as I said, money is just a side benefit. Notch went in expecting a small project, with two hundred or so players. He never expected this level of commerical success.
