THIS! Grrrr. Also, any way to get a bigger brush?
Yes scroll to make it bigger. On Windows to make it bigger right click on the shortcut and click properties. Put "scale:2" without the quotes at the end of the target line.
Can't connect. I'll just play the Java game for now.
how can I register???
Anyone else having issues loading the download links?
Anyone else having issues loading the download links?
Yes, the website won't load.
I love all these powder games, they always have so much to do.
Anyone have a mirror for this?
Anyone have a mirror for this?
Same, I don't know why the fuck I can't connect to they're website.
Well, if you think about it, lava should more than easly melt metal and rock. When a volcano erupts, the lava wipes out anything in its path, and lava itself is molten rock, which means it is at a temperature at which it can melt any other rock or metal.
We should leave current elemens alone, and instead:
- Make a custum element set in which one can add elements. When file is saved the created element will be saved with the file and automatically uploaded when viewed. In addition, the player who made the element will keep a database of every element they made, and they can be removed from thier custom element pallet if they wanted to. A good way to make a custum element is to add a drop down menue which has an add element sign. When clicked you have a set of tools to simply creat an element. First a color scale to decide on the color of the element, then scroll bars to set the melting point, flammability, weight, pressure and so on. Finally a box to name your element, and a box to enter a discription of the element. This is an easy way to make a custum element.
- An option should be added so one can "lock" thier creations so the save button will not be allowed on thier uploaded creation. This will effictively lower stealing. All other actions will work, they can add and deleate stuff as much as they want, they just cant save anything on that page.
- Finally, we need an offline save sistem. A folder will be created by the game, and by simply clicking on the save button, you have the choice to save online or offline (on your computer) or both. When saved offline, the file will appear by name in the creations folder. By double clicking any of the files in the folder, it will open in powder toy allowing you to save it online whenever. This is an effective way to save important stamps and other stuff.
I agree very much, but another thing that there should be is an open scource version so people like me could edit the game. You seem to be an expert at this game and I have one question: every time that I try to save, my game says "605 timed out", do you know what this is about?
[editline]06:04PM[/editline]
What would be awesome, Is if you made a SEPERATE exe where:
THE SPACE TOY.
No gravity
Planet Core: VERY HIGH negative pressure, Attracts things no matter what.
Planet Core (Physical): A planet core that moves.
Moon Core (Physical): A lighter core that orbits your planet no matter what. It allows an atmosphere to be reinforced.
Mantle: Same properties as stone.
Lava: Does not burn, But does occasionaly rush to the surface of your planet.
Dirt: Brown and messy.
Grey dirt: Grey and messy.
Meteor: Creates small craters if it impacts on things.
Comet: Creates HUGE craters if it impacts on things.
Plants: Grow assorted planets on your planets. These plants will not grow if the planet has not got any water on it. They will also absorb gas. (Physical)
Star: Planets will orbit around this. May occasionally release solar flares.
Water: Can mix with salt.
Salt: Mixes with water and makes it not allow plants to grow.
Snow: Does not freeze water. It's snowy.
Solar flare: Non-spawnable, If it hits your planet, It increases atmospheric pressure.
Life: Little people. They do spread, And multiply. They make very small amounts of gas. They might even make little houses and buildings.
Aliens: They fly little UFOs. Don't anger them...
Buildings: Unspawnable. They are physical, And they will stick to dirt and stone. Requires ore before the people will make them.
Factories: Unspawnable and physical. They will stick to dirt and stone. Makes lots of gas.
Ore: Unspawnable. Random chance of it appearing in dirt.
Gas: Raises atmospheric pressure. Do not let too much of it spread!
Atmosphere:
Planets will form an atmosphere once it has these six things:
Plants
Water
Life
Gas
Stone
Orbiting a star
It will then be able to support life. If there is too much gas in your atmosphere, Delete the gas. Otherwise your atmosphere will burst, Your people will die, And the planet will become a lifeless husk. Things will also orbit your planet if you place them right. But don't have too many things orbit your planet at once, Or you could end up with 200 moons falling into it and blowing it up.
Greenhouse effect:
If the atmosphere pressure gets to 65%, There will be the greenhouse effect. It will cause the planet to heat up. Water will evaporate, Snow will melt into more water, And life will start to slowly disappear. To prevent this, Simply reduce the amount of gas by adding plants!
Destructive behavior:
Occasionally, You may notice your plants starting to disappear. Why? Because your silly little humans are destroying them to build their dumb little houses, That's why! To prevent this, Make sure you keep your human population low. I don't really care how, Set them on fire if you have to! This has a percentage meter near the top of the screen. 0% Being calm, 100% being industrialism.
Ohnoestherearecometsheadingtowardsmyplanetwhatdoidoomg!
Well, Planets will die at one point. If you notice that your planet is being pelted by comets and who knows where they're coming from, That means your civilization has reached peak, And the game is trying to kill them off. If your computer can't handle the fact you have 20000 citizens on your planet, The game will try to kill them off to reduce latency. Don't worry, it won't destroy your planet. Much.
Moons... What are they good for?!
Moons help your atmosphere keep intact. Sometimes, By coincidence, They may even take meteors and comets for you! However, Don't take a moon for granted. Because if you neglect your moon too much it will disintegrate and crash into your planet, Likely spelling doom to everyone. If you want to prevent this, Simply drop some more grey dirt onto it to repair craters, And try to keep your atmospheric pressure to a good level. A clean moon is a happy moon!
Eeek! Little green men from outer space!
What's this? Little green men have colonized on your moon! What an outrage! Well, It doesn't matter unless your little humans were dumb enough to shoot at them...
One day, You may get a window with a picture of an alien on it, And a piece of text. It says:
Alien race *Randomly generated name* wants to ally with your planet. Do you accept?
YES
NO
If you press yes, The aliens will fly away and be happy, Help you upkeep your atmosphere, Stop incoming asteroids and break up comets, And more!
But if you press no.. OHNOES! Quick! FIRE ZE MISSLES! ALIENS INVADING! The aliens will kill your humans, Destroy your planets, Release gas into your atmosphere, And crash other planets into you! They might even enslave the whole race! But don't worry, Your humans aren't ALL powerless, They will just set up some cannons and missiles and other things, And totally blow shit up.
Other galaxies? Preposterous!
Hmm. It seems that there are other people playing god, Like you! They reside in other star systems, Far far away. This is the method of saving and loading. If you haven't saved already, Simply click on a star, Choose a name, And save! If you want to load something, Click on a star that has already been saved on, and play! You can even play other people's things too. However, If you don't want someone totally ruining your creations, Choose "Play Only". If you want them to interact all they want, Choose "Interactivity Mode". In play only, You can do all you can in interactivity mode, However it is ONLY YOU, And you cannot save as it resets as soon as you leave. If you choose interactivity mode, You still cannot save, But it dynamically continues on progressing while you have left!
You could leave it in interactivity mode one day, Only to come back next day to see your planet lifeless and covered in lava. OR you could come back and see your planet flourishing and progressing well!
Zoom levels and such.
Unlike the powder toy, Space toy allows you to zoom in and out with the zoom levels:
2x, 4x, 6x, 12x(Star System), 24x (Galaxy), 48x (Universe). Which means you can make your planets as big as you want!
And that ends my torrent of ideas. Although I might have more.
that would be great!, you know, im a programmer and could try to make your idea a reality, but isnt this a LOT like the Spore galaxie game?
[editline]06:05PM[/editline]
If only your suggestion and my previous 3 things to add would be made, then the game would be... as good as it gets!
I can try...
[editline]06:15PM[/editline]
Thank you all for voting for my first creation, the auto forge. First off, if anybody has a suggestion for shortening the 2nd and 3rd fase of the forge please let me know.
Second off.
We need a simple button to eather allow or not allow the save button for stamps to be used on your creation. If turned off, the save button simply doesn't work. Thats IT. If turned on, it would function normaly. This would help prevent alot of theft of ideas, for many of the people simply copy creations because they are too lazy to make thier own. For instance one guy copied mine, and he was so lazy he didnt bother to erase the sign saying "made by racer delux".
yes we do
do you know if this is c++ based? i want to edit some stuff (maybe make a new one with your ides...)
[editline]06:17PM[/editline]
Yes, alot of people still play it.
Also check out my 2 newest uploads-Auto nuke reactor (2nd page) and my 6 cylender engin-it even has a spadometer!
nice!!

not sure if it works anymore, now with the teamspeak3 and all
[editline]06:38PM[/editline]
This game needs:
• The Space toy (As suggested earlier)
• Something that conducts heat, a glass element, that should slowly melt by fire, and conduct that heat, should also crack or disinigrate when heated and than hit by a rush of water.
•More elements e.g: Laser, People, Plant, etc.
•When heated enough, water should boil and convert to visible steam.
•There should be a type of wall that can be obliterated by explosions or enouch lava/fire. such as cement, you should be able to add water,it would mix, then dry into a solid stone. I also feel you should be able to solditize stone into one large chunk, instead of it being seperate particles.
•Stone should be harde to melt.
•And lastly, it's need an instructions page giving more detailed instructions.
[editline]08:14PM[/editline]
like i said, ill try
If anything, metal should conduct heat, glass should slowly melt when it reaches a certain tempurature, but still be able to boil water until a leak starts. (And water hitting a red-hot area of the glass should weaken or disinigrate it...)
@Racer Delux
If you are still considering all of those things that you though tshould be added to the powder toy, please email me or reply here...
I will once again mention that yes, i am able to edit the powder toy and post an edited version to a website...
These game have a lot of fun for me.

Wut? And how?
Edit: Hey, it's ok to rate me boxes, but the fact that no one helps me, is just dumb. If you can answer this, shit rate me box, and give me an answer, then im gonna rate you useful, and in the end we're all happy. Come on, if it's that simple just answer!
This is not meant to be flaming or anything i just want a straight answer...

I feel a ban coming up.... Ok, whatever just forget i asked, it's probably some very easy stuff, it's just that my system is on danish, i dont get a shit of what your talking about, that's why i needed someone to explain how, instead of just saying: DO IT... And come on i have been on this forum long enough to now most of the banning reasons, including the system32-thing.. So it's just stupid...

Backseat moderation/predicting bans is a bannable offense. :v:
