Holy shit, version 28 has like 3 new things, anything else edited?
I think there are 3 new walls but besides that I do not see anything new except the server stuff. :) @ief014 You need to get in touch with Simon and give him your new things. @FacialTurd Don't know if you got my PM or not but I am willing to help on the website and host this stuff if you want.

I did the same thing thinking that it would overwrite my old version but it doesn't. They do need to be removed or an overwrite system needs to be implemented.
There is a game like this that I play, called Powder Game. http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/ It's like the one posted in the OP but it has more elements and objects. There is a wiki to all the element properties: http://danball.wikia.com/wiki/Powder_Game But yeah these particle physics sandbox games are great. I'll try the one posted in OP.

yes i am aware of that, i figured that out as soon as i started saving, the reason i said spamming is because it is spam that needs deleted, even if it is uninteded, it is spam, and no offense to the player, but at least both you and me we smart enough to delete the old ones.

Me and ief015 are going to try and work with Simon to get some stuff working better hopefully.
thank you to whoever cleaned it up
Yea that is true. Me and ief015 are going to try and work with Simon to get some stuff working better hopefully.
What? I never said anything about that.
Any good tutorials? There are a lot of things that I don't quite understand.
Any good tutorials? There are a lot of things that I don't quite understand.
Same here except i just need to know how to use the fan wall thing
Place the fan, then hold shift and drag in the direction you want the fan to blow, it's simple.
Place the fan, then hold shift and drag in the direction you want the fan to blow, it's simple.
Oh I see, thanks a lot!
Yes, there is an auto-updates feature, you'll be told there's a new version available. While Linux users may need to download the newer source and compile again, Windows users can simply click "Update"
where can you find "update"?
What is the streamline for, anyways?
where can you find "update"?
There is an auto-update system built-in that will prompt you to download the newest version when you start it up.
What is the streamline for, anyways?
It detects the strength and direction of velocity/air movement. EDIT: 28.1 is now out.
I like how OP is being rated clocks, when this thread was made when the program released.
This is semi-addictive. Gonna go play it now. :pcgaming:
I like how OP is being rated clocks, when this thread was made when the program released.
Yep, there's some idiots out there. But, on topic, used to play this at School. :v:
wow 28.2 is already out
28.2 causes a crash when I try to update.
28.2 causes a crash when I try to update.
all of the updates do that for me, you just have to trash the old version and download the new one at http://powder.hardwired.org.uk/ also, 28.2 has caused me some problems, sometimes it doesnt recognize that i changed walls or particles, gets annoying, but you can work around it.
28.2 seems to be a big update. He needs to start attaching patch notes so we know what is going on or he could just get on the forums.
No zombiez. :[ Falling Sand was so epic back then. Messing w/ the zombies was so amazing.
Can anyone give me the link for the latest download for this game?
28.2 causes a crash when I try to update.
When abouts during the update process does it crash?
When abouts during the update process does it crash?
Hey check your PM's.
I have some good ideas for future updates. New walls: A wall that is not indestructible. New particles: Mercury: Immune to acid and deflects heat and pressure. Nitrous oxide (NoS): Very explosive gas, liquefies under pressure. LEAD: Heavy metal can melt-able in extreme heat. New features: Realistic physics: this can be turned on/off and when a particle is placed real life physics come into play E.G If a piece of metal is placed it falls unless it is supported by something. NPC: such as Zombie, human, civilian. The civ does nothing but walk around. Heat: New viewing mode that shows the temperature of all the areas. All the best. Effects: Smoke: As fire burns stuff it creates smoke. Fumes: As acid melts it creates fumes

A soft metal would be cool though, something like Field's metal that melts at an obscenely low temperature. Smoke and fumes would be annoying. NPCs would be cool, but simplify the titles. Just protagonist and antagonist would work. For realistic physics, that would be pretty tough to do without totally rewriting the game engine.
When abouts during the update process does it crash?
yea, it says finalizing update and crashes.
