Ah, okay, I hadn't tried connecting metal to it. So you can make a diode with it, but I can't seem to make a transistor, which should also be possible. If anyone figures it out, I'd be interested to know how.
Well knowing the transistors are either PNP or NPN, I guess connect them in that order. Althought it doens't do much =/
P and N type silicon does not work atm. Simon and I are going to be working on it the next update or two to see if it can be done.

really? it seems to be working for me, when you put metal to n, it doesnt go through, but m to p to n works, i have made a one-way circuit, and it is possible to make a 4 way, with only one making the other three spark, if anyone really wants it, i can make it and upload it
It works like that, but realistically you should be able to create a transistor by lining them up either PNP or NPN. If you apply a spark to the middle one (the base), it shouldn't travel to either ends (emitter and collector), but it should then allow a spark to travel between the two ends.
The element emulsion has the same characteristics as the unstoppable particles.
Is this by design?
Hey, how do you have so many different substances?
I just got the game.
I have ported my crap to the official build 34 (beta 6).
Download it (win32 and src downloads available) here http://www.iefhost.com/dl/pt-ief/powder.html
Changelogs and other details in the link.
so it's easy to mod this or what?

oh holy shit.
I just downloaded the beta and theres like 10 new things.

What do you mean?
Hi guys. Ive installed new XP and it says configuration incorrect and doesnt run. Help plz!!!

Depends. How much programming experience do you have?
I remember playing this a while back.
Nevermind my earlier post.
If you dont listen to me(or ignore me as in my other posts as bugs and so), POWDER TOY NEEDS MSI V2

what's MSI V2?

I'm enjoying the concrete
Dog asses, dog asses EVERYWHERE.
Anyway the beta is pretty damn awesome.

I do actually read every suggestion, whether I chose to act upon it is a different matter.
Im sorry, but I got very mad, like "FUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCC".
There should be a post weith that dependencies, because nowhere in powder.hardwired.com says game requires MSI v2. It's an small file, and required in many games if they tell you "the config is incorrect blah blah blah"
I think author of Rigs of Rods(free racing/simulator game) created it, Pricorde. LINK:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rigsofrods/files/rigsofrods/0.36.2/RigsOfRods-0.36.2-dependencies.zip/download
Install both files
BTW: What's with the "pressure dissapearing" bug I told you?. Is it real, or my fault?

The Powder Toy should come with all the dependencies in the ZIP file, also, you may need to read this:

The wall thing is not a bug, just it's a feature.
Hey there (new here),
Just wondering, how do I get this to work on mac?
I'm using the newest release of Snow Leopard, and I did the 'sudo cp' command in terminal, but it won't open (keeps saying there is a problem).
Any way to fix this?
Thanks.
Anyone here registered on the original? I lost so many projects when the server went down. User name on old and new: Lockheedmartin. Anyone else lost a lot of projects?
is there anyone who knows if the th0m45 who is in the new powder now is the "real th0m45?"...
anyone who can proof that?...
just kinda strange that the master of calculators uploads a calc which dont work. i actually found ~half of the mistakes in it though...
P.S.: @th0m45: check your displays ;)
The only way to prove it is if there is one question about the old one to be asked. I know some will ask me about the bank I created, if they return to the newer one.
I lost alot of projects and I am uploading a lod of the old uploads again. User name Singularity
Me too I lost like 20 old designs.

I can not update the powder toy. I always get an error message. Where can I download the latest version?
Yea and he removed positive and negative silicon :(
