Why is it so hard to capitalize the names of things within the game? Seriously, it's very distracting and annoying.

The butterflies and Meatlump guys outside of Coronet are pretty good for beginners. Once you feel confident enough to actually start making some cash go pick up some missions and do them. Once you get a speeder things really start to speed up.

Sorta offtopic, but how does this actually differ from the current SWG? I mean, how did sony fuck SWG up?
They made a normal MMO out of it. The biggest thing is that you chose a class, and then you're set. Everyone could get Jedi with just the press of a button.
Question: If I'm a Marksman, is it at all possible for someone to be able to teach me Novice Brawler so I could become a Teras Kasi artist as well, or am I fated to be a marksman for the rest of my days?
Yes you can. Just go talk to a Brawler trainer. You get the novice rank for free, except for the skill points of course.

Having checked the market of Coronet and Mos Eisley I can comfortably tell you that I can produce 98% of all clothing on sale there. Except of course that damn spec-ops duster.

SWGEmu has been a work in progress for several years now and it still feels really incomplete. There's not a whole lot you can craft, there's no terminal missions or NPC dialogue really, there's no player buildings, only a few different kinds of each item. They say they're coming out with V1 soon, right? What's going to be included that will take it out of beta?

I'm impressed how far they've gotten with all the set backs and trouble these guys have gone though. They're doing this on their own time, had several sets backs and literally rebuild a game from the ground up. If they can do this SOE can do this with a full time paid dev team.
No SOE is literally worse than a bunch of guys doing this in their spare time on donations. That's how bad they are now.

Everything[/QUOTE] In the original SWG there was a shit-ton of stuff you could craft and you would be able to see it all in the bazaars. In SWGEmu, in each subcategory there are a total of like 20 unique items. For instance, look in the pistol subcategory for the entire galaxy. You will find the same 10 or so pistols at wildly varying prices. I know it's in beta, but where are all the pistols from the original SWG? Same goes for armor. There are only like 5 different armor sets in SWGEmu, SWG had a lot more. I haven't found any terminals that offer missions to help starting characters (like Artisan, Brawler, etc. terminals). As for player buildings, just harvesters is pretty limited. You can't build a gigantic player city with houses and player-made structures and things. Are they planning on introducing player buildings in V1? Otherwise, the architecture subclass seems pointless. So, by saying everything will be included when they exit beta, does that include all of the things I mentioned in this post? Also, I forgot to include that there's only a few different vehicles, and they're missing pets altogether. (I want my party R2 unit, goddammit!)
You're completely wrong, the weapon and armor variety between now and pre-CU is nearly identical, if anything there was more weapon variety in NGE simply because they made the game stupid and it basically didn't matter what variant of weapon or armor you used, so long as the stats were capped. In Pre-CU, the weapon actually matters because it partly determines the stats. There are essentially NO weapons that were craftable pre-CU that you can't craft now. SWG Did not have a lot more armor either, unless you're counting RIS/Crafted BH/Mando (Those three wouldn't be anywhere on bazaar's anyway) and factional armor is going to be implemented Yes they're going to have buildings in V1.
