SWG kind of does that to you. If you're in Coronet or Theed go outside the city and start attacking things that have any color but yellow or red next to their name. After doing that for a bit hit Ctrl+S and see if you've got enough XP to be trained in a new skill box. If you do you can either go find an NPC trainer or go into the city where other people are and yell out asking if someone can train you in Brawler 1xxx or Medic x1xx or whatever it may be that you want/need.
