Nah, am actually rtying to finish a mission, thats why I asked. Also, sorry again for asking, but, speedbike, how to obtain? :buddy: [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] nvm, I was blind.
so jedi is available in the pre-OR server? not easily available, but available?
so jedi is available in the pre-OR server?
From what I've read in this thread, I think so.
so jedi is available in the pre-OR server? not easily available, but available?
Yes; if I remember correctly, it's running on the first system - find out if you're force-sensitive, find a holocron, grind that profession, repeat 4 more times, Jedi trainee. There's relatively few around, mostly on Corellia hanging out in Coronet. Also, ask if someone can buy you a speeder bike. The community is excellent, and if you ask for training or little things, as long as you're polite, they'll help you out. I tried tipping a guy 5000 credits after training me in 4 skills, and he refunded it.
Now that I am playing this and having a blas, The Old Republic feels even shitier than before. :/
Why does everyone but me seem to be in TOR beta?
Oh god, I've played SWGEmu ages ago, I wonder if my awesome chewbacca pilot is still there, but apparently there was a wipe?
I should point out that Links is a fashion model (and reasonably famous) because of me and my fashion designs. Hurrah for Wunup Inc.
Also, do you play on the Nova test server or the official SWGEMU one?
Servers down, awesome. :( Also, seriously, why aren't more mmos like swg out there? This is probably the first time that I have so much fun in a game, and that's to say a lot because I played many, many, many of them. :/

And everyone fails horribly. They should really learn of their mistakes. The only 3 crafting mmos out there, Wurm, Atale in the Desert, and swg pre-cu, are mantained by indie teams and yet have a healthy player base. If a professional studio tries to do make something out of this, they really might score big.
Well, is Perfumly and the cool cats in Core3 / Liberator or what? I need to find that out like.. Immediately.
Liberator/Core3 population is generally around: 900/10. So yeah, I guess they are in Liberator. I know am laaaate.
FFFFFFFFfffffffffffffffffffffffffff The core 3 population is currently 6 and the Liberator one is 700. Darn.
I don't understand why they separated it. I mean, they could do like any Alpha phase of any game and just have one server for testing AND playing. Wouldn't that make testing easier? :o
I don't understand why they separated it. I mean, they could do like any Alpha phase of any game and just have one server for testing AND playing. Wouldn't that make testing easier? :o
It would. Well, It's up to a few people to test the changes now, apparently, since Nova got extremely unpopulated.
Has there been major server changes to cater to the whiners or something? I stopped playing around in September and there was only 1 server as far as I remember, after the OR update and all.. and it was pretty broken as they had to recode everything. Most people just standing around testing different shit.
Now there is a playign server with much fun and win, and not enough testers in the testing server, appearently.
Question, is SWG (official) still going? I'm surprised they're still making enough money.
Lol appearently there are more people on SWGemu than on SWG official.
Lol appearently there are more people on SWGemu than on SWG official.
It's true.
got a copy of SWG cheap off Ebay, installing now.
space?
it was a genuine question i could care less about land based game play when i played SWG i always stayed in space
it was a genuine question i could care less about land based game play when i played SWG i always stayed in space
It won't be around at launch (think back to 5 minute shuttles) but they're planning on putting it in later.
What's the current state of this? I played it long ago and there was not much to do, seemed very unpolished and incomplete.
What's the current state of this? I played it long ago and there was not much to do, seemed very unpolished and incomplete.
Right now they have two servers, the test center, and Liberator. My guess is that Liberator is the official server. They haven't completely finished the game as of yet, but it seems to be just about done. And the population on Liberator is rather huge compared to some servers on the live SWG. Coronet, Corellia and Mos Eisely, Tatooine always have many people around. Only downside is the servers get shut down a lot.
I had a deja vu reading this, I was like "What the fuck? Wasn't this whole page posted before?" Anyway, Architect is only useful in test server, which is what am witing for, right now. Player housing in swg and EQ2 was really the best in the whole gaming industry. :buddy:
Saw this on the last post while browsing. Does everyone here still play? Last I played it was waaaayyyy different than nova since the OR and it was practically back to the testing shit with frogs and all that. After a few City wars and duels I uninstalled and couldn't reinstall, so I haven't been checking it in a while. Did it change?
