At least housing and player cities are back.
True! But space is the only thing that kept me going in SWG once it came out. I guess I'll just keep waiting.
We were chilling in the Cantina earlier, cool dude. :v:
Really? He's on a fishing trip for the weekend, he left two days ago. I'm starting to wonder if that cheeky bastard took his "work laptop" with him. I want to like this game again, but it's all based on grinding and I do not enjoy grinding.

Or such a good player-city system?

I loved the fact there was no such thing as classes, you built a template from scratch and made it in to whatever you wanted. Plus, if you even wanted to take a break you could craft, take part in social/pvp events and build cities. At that time there was no penalties for being new, everyone had the same chance to get a template going and become badass. It was strictly based on the players skill and not just the equipment.
guys dont grind in the gay retard groups outside Eisley, you'll only get like 12 xp per kill rather go to like an empty city and grind on the mobs outside, you'll get at least 200xp per kill which is way better group xp is bugged hi

Except crafting grinding, fuck that shit.

I used macro's to get doctor xp toward crafting. A freaking life saver, instead of taking weeks, it only took me a few days.

This is great, working towards bounty hunter.
Yeah I had crafting macros, still hate it though. Especially the Bio Engineering grind.
I went from Novice Tailor to Master in about 45 minutes using a custom configuration of the "Ultimate Crafting Macro".
Just started playing this today, any tips for beginners? I'm going to consider myself a beginner beucase I don't remember a single thing from pre CU.
Just installed this again to play for the nostalgia. Probably gonna get bored really quickly.
Damn, someone took my name.. guess that's what I get for waiting a week to make a character after the wipe. new character: Lukis Lightran
Just started playing this today, any tips for beginners? Also if you want to make money go do delivery missions at the mission terminals. After you get like 10k you can buy a speederbike off the bazzar terminals and go hunting and rank up your professions. If you die, hit the cantina, medics and entertainers will heal you since they benefit from it as well. (most populated cantinas are the ones in Mos Eisely, Tatooine & Coronet, Corellia.)
If any one from Facepunch needs help let me know, I have started a city and a guild. Can give you a house and help you :)

I think i might look into this when I get the chance.
Aw man I wish I still had the SWG files, I'd probably play a bit of this
Wouldn't it be technically legal to torrent since the game is no longer supported by Sony or Lucas? No, i'm not declaring warez, it was just a question.
Oh god,I was doing some scouting missions when suddenly i realize a freaking bobcatt was following me to the city. When I arrived at the city, some people actually attacked the bobcatt :v:

If you loved SWG the emulater has come a long way there is still a lot to do but it is very playable if your interested check it out at exileserver.com. And as far as leagle goes as long as you have you original game disks you can play.
