I finally got everything set up. My name in-game is Uprox Awab (randomly generated names are fantastic(!)) and I am a marksman so if anyone wants to do some missions or something just give me a message.

Damn this is finally done? I really got to get into this. I played SWG nearly since release... CU/CU2/NGE made me sad :C. Best darn mmo to ever walk the earth I still have an unopened SWG box so I think I can use those CDs... sweet :)

If you started out as marksman you should have a pistol, rifle, and a carbine in your inventory.

Woo! Found the other two at the bottom of a dusty pile of cd cases where I initially found the case for the game. Go figure. Installing now, but the EMU site still appears to be down.
Yeah the emu is going under a lot of shit right now, not sure why exactly. I'd just wait until tomorrow to start playing.
Alright. I'm trying to install the original game now. Does anyone have a spare data2.cab file on hand, because i think my disk is scratched. I got this error while installing...

Hey guys, been playing this for a few days now. Just got TK and going for Master Brawler. Is the server down for anyone else? For some reason I can't get in the forums either.
Are other people losing connection alot? In the short time I was playing I lost connection twice.
Also are there any NPC missions at the moment or should I just head out into the world and murder every enemy in sight?

Hmmm I haven't logged in on this in a long time. There wasn't a patch when I started the game. I was expecting a patcher to come up, I seem to remember one.
Click full scan if your using the launcher, then play.
I don't see the launcher. I click the exe and it just goes straight to the login screen.
You need to use launchpad enhanced.

Seems like the server is up now. Good thing I started patching when I did, it's taking a long ass time.
It's been up for about 10 minutes then goes down for an hour all day, they're having some major tech difficulties today. No idea what is actually up.
Also while leveling TKA use the razor blade fist weapon things before you have the proficiency for them, you get a debuff or something but it levels much faster unless it was fixed. Also I miss my TKA/CM :C I have such good memories of this game. I woke up at like 4 AM with my dad around server reset to farm bounty hunter armor, was sweet. I loved the resource system too, my dad was a chef and made some sick food that let me throw poisons ridiculously fast and combined with this fire spider venom stuff I had I destroyed enemies en masse
