Perhaps somewhere in South America or Central America? Possibly during the invasion of Hernan Cortes? The whole 2012 Doomsday crap in the game is really speaking out for a possible journey to Mesoamerica.
why does it have to be on facebook, wtf
Aw god, i liked Assassins Creed 1, the second wasn't bad but i've not completed and i don't know if i care enough to bother, i just hope this series doesn't get milked.
I dunno, I think it is too early for a modern approach.
I would like to go through a bit more ancestry with Desmond before going into anything in the year 1800+.
Would be cool climbing skyscrapers and things though.

easiest and cheapest marketing through word of mouth without any real effort on the companies side.
If it stars Altair hopefully it will be more focused on stealth and infiltration and stuff like that, because he doens't have all the gadgetry of Ezio, and I think the assassin element should be focused on more.
Where do you think Ezio got all the gadgets?
[sp]Altaïr invented them using his Apple[/sp]
Altair was very bland and had no character what so ever.
Ezio was much better.
I kind of liked Altairs attitude towards things and how he became ignorant and arrogant because of his skills, he's a pretty good image for a lone wolf assassin. Honestly the first AC had an awesome charm and feeling to it, AC2 was fucking epic to but in a different way. But I liked how they implemented all the missions with the family and a shitton of sidequests.

Heh, can you imagine London in the Industrial Revolution in an AC game?
Running around in a grimy white assassin cloak and hood with a bowler hat underneath and a handlebar moustache.

is it just me or would the cold war be a perfect scenario for an AC game if they were to make a modern one

I'd personally love to see an Assassin's Creed set in World War 1, but that's just my opinion.
I don't think setting Assassin's Creed in modern times is a good idea for one the buildings are waaaaaay too high although setting them in the late 1800s to early 1900s might still work.
Thank god.
Ezio was a fag. Altaïr is the best.
I was a fag?
got a youtube video of that? would like to refresh my memory on that without having to replay the game

Could it end with her being pregnant and the next Assassin's Creed game will follow that baby? v:v:v
At least the way it zooms in near the end could hint at that.
Maybe something taking place in Russia, they always had secretive stuff going on and they were pretty big on spying during medieval times.
I think the graphic novel Assassin's Creed: The Fall was set in turn-of-the-century Russia, with events leading up to the crumbling of the Tsardom and the Tunguska Event.

It'd make a cool installment, methinks.

Except the part that he gets those Bleeding Effects "day-dreams" (like that one in AC2 where you are Altaïr, posted above) without ever being in an Animus.
what time period would this be in
they did kinda soak up all the story possibilities italy had, i can't think of a time where tech was not incredibly advanced as to facilitate the use of the hidden blade and what not, and to allow a hap-hazard police force
Medieval japan would work. There's alot of people who have died violently in their history giving for alot of potential pseudo-historical figures to assasinate.

We do need to go forward.
200 to 300 at most.
Medieval Japan would be awesome.
Altair wasn't a bad person in overall. In comparison to Ezio, Altair was simply a mindless Assassin who didn't get a decent personality and traits, whilst Ezio had a full story and biography of his Assassin path shown (more or less) and shows his motives. Yet Altair is the one who made all theese techniques possible for Ezio, and he is more deadly with limited armor he wore.
They're both ok.
As for a new place of events, I'd like French Revolution, Nikolai Orelov or Feudal Japan as ninja-assassin. Definetly a new videogame character, reusing old ones is lame and just shows how they want more money off it.

Japan was almost completely closed to outside culture until 1600 (First firearms at 1500?) and remained relatively medieval controlled by the samurai class even until 1800 when the american navy forced them to open borders.
Edit: This means you can just set it to 1500 when japan was almost completely uninfluenced by western culture or invetions (Even their firearms were of quite rare (In western societies) mechanics) but still have your hidden blade gun and smoke bombs etc. because they were possible.
ninja's creed

that would explain the arabic writing in the teaser, the next game may have something to do with Altair's son, or maybe even further down the line
Backtracking wouldn't make sense/Would be somewhat annoying.
maybe it was just a reference to Desmond's line and had no real meaning

wait, who had Ezio's baby? was it Cristina?
wait, who had Ezio's baby? was it Cristina?
[sp]Cristina died during one of the repressed memories of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It's not known if she conceived before dying, or whether her baby was Ezio's. It's safe to assume she didn't have Ezio's baby.[/sp]
Looks like none of this french crap thank god.

I'd love to see London making an appearance in the next AC.
