Ok, 3rd flash animation on facebook page shows Hagia Sophia and Tughra of Suleiman the Magnificent...
So, Turkey is prolly one of the places next AC will take...
Looking at images of the inside of the Hagia Sophia, I can already imagine that there's gonna be a mission where you jump and climb around in the church just like in the church missions in AC2 and Brotherhood...
Also I can live with the Ottoman Empire as the new location.
("Tughra of Suleiman the Magnificent" reigned from 1520 to 1566, so that's roughly the time the game will be set in, I guess...)

If they do it well I won't mind. I wonder what time it will take place in though.

Hmm. I was looking forward to a 19th century Assassin's Creed game though. Oh well, I think a concept like that would work better as a spin-off.
Another thing is that there was some other cryptic images above that relate to Greece. Will the third game take place in many different locations?

Its almost certainly...ill go even further and say we will be able to play as both Altair and Ezio
The animation on the Facebook page flashes 24th June, 1459. (24061459)
Which is coincidentally.. The day Ezio Auditore da Firenze was born.
An Assassin's Creed mashup?
Ancient greece was before the forming of the Assassins in Syria and Persia. It can't really go back any further than Altair unless they make up something that says the Assassin's actually moved there from somewhere else.
Besides, it's obviously a piece of eden and its existence isn't limited entirely to ancient greece, it could be modern greece too.
My guess is that we will play as Altair, but in another location, Greece, Cyprus, or somewhere nearby.
Um in AC: Brotherhood (or was it AC2) they explained that the Creed had been around for as long as humans were around.
Apparently the thing has updated again, this time showing some sort of temple with domes and spires, a string of numbers which appear to be 24061459, and some artifact that looks vaguely like an eye.
Any ideas as to what it means? Also, 12% to the next one.
Allegedly the numbers are a date, 24/06/1459. From what i've heard, apparently that is the day that Ezio was born. The temple might be the Hagia Sophia, too. Still don't know about the artifact, though.
Whatever time period they set it in I'm sure it's going to be great, I wouldn't mind playing a completely new assassin, I remember seeing Ezio for the first time and thinking 'What the fuck is this shit...' but then he quickly became one of my favourite characters in the series, I think for certain we'll be playing as Desmond again.
What if Turkey, Greece and Tunisia?

I swear that one of the Creed members in ACII (or AC:B) said that they've been around much longer than that. I think those are just the first recorded members of Templars and Assasins in history.
I wonder if the game will be begin some time after bloodlines
[sp]I've played bloodlines and the ending is just altair and that templar woman escaping from a fortress with the fruit of eden, there must be a lot of things to tell about altair[/sp]

And what the fuck does the Russian thing do there?

Look at what the double headed eagle (yes?) is holding. Apple of Eden and the Papal Staff.

That's exactly why I'm confused. It might be my memory lying to me, but I SWEAR I've heard someone say that the Assassin's and Templars have been around for a long time. It might've been Subject 16.
See, Putin is a Templar.
It could be late 19th century/early 20th century in Russia. There is a comic-book mini-series called Assassin's Creed: The Fall that takes place around this time period dealing with an assassin by the name of Nikolai Orelov (and some other fag no one cares about in modern times).
Well, looks like this is going to be Ezio's final appearance, going to Constantinople to follow in Altair's footsteps, and all 3 characters (Ezio, Altair and Desmond) are going to playable.

looking forward to this, AC has probably been my favorite series of games since battlefield.
Looking forward to Assassin's Creed Revelations and getting to play all three protagonists of the series: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad , Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles!! :woop:

I bet Ezio will gain to ability to "see" Altaïr's memories, seeing as he's going to Constantinople to follow in Altaïr's footsteps.
Or at least see visions like Desmond does when he finds the tunnel in Monteriggioni.
Does anyone else get really sad when they see how old ezio looks?

I hope not, that would be really dumb. Desmond gets those visions because of his time in the Animus.

I'm confused - is Ezio the one in the white cloak or is he the one facing the audience?
I'm confused - is Ezio the one in the white cloak or is he the one facing the audience?
He's the one in black.
I'm confused - is Ezio the one in the white cloak or is he the one facing the audience?
The guy in the white robe is Altair, he's the guy from the first game, he reformed the assassin's after the templars temporarily took over. The guy in grey is Ezio, from 2 and Brotherhood, he stopped the Boriga family from taking over Rome, he's all old now.
And then there's Desmond "Nolan-North-can-only-do-one-voice-why-does-he-keep-getting-hired" Miles. No one cares about him.
Ezio is wearing black, Altair is the one in white.
Nolan North is awesome, sorry.
