Seriously, the ps3 fans are fucking pissing on anyone who is against this, well here is something: THERE IS NO ME1 ON THE PS3. Before you say, there will, check what Microsoft or Bioware stated, 360 exclusive. So, in my opinion, half of the reasons to play ME2 is gone from the PS3(your choices, speaking to the council, having Ashley alive while Shepard is female, and getting those emails from people you helped, oh, and of course who is the councilor or chairperson, and everyone's favorite characters). In other words, every shitty choice was made for you.
That is like porting a PS3 game series that is like Mass Effect to the 360, but not releasing the first game. And the PS3 game makes the shittest choices for you if you make a new game without importing. Sure, it is good that ME is going to be on the PS3, but with the way the fans of the PS3 are acting, well, it seems like a bad idea. Another bad thing is the fact that Mass Effect 1 is still a 360 exclusive(published by MS). Really, if you hate the 360 so much, but want the Mass Effect games, try upgrading your computer, then you can play all you want.
And the hours of new content, chances are, its the dlc from the 360.

It's unfortunate that ME1 isn't coming to PS3. I probably will get ME2 for the PS3 when it drops in price by quite a bit. I've always wanted to see what it plays like on a console.

Well maybe if we're lucky, it might be possible to import our saves at some point from PC ME1 to PS3 ME2. I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. If that save files aren't compatible right off the bat, bioware or a thirdparty could probably make some kind of converter maybe.
There should be a international law that if developers are planning to release their game on a console, they have to do it for both the PS3 and 360!

In my opinion, Halo gets boring real fast, and I like Forza a lot more in some ways than I like GT. I mean, I can't say much about GT5 because it's not out yet, but over half the cars without interiors? Assets from GT4? I mean c'mon, the game has been in development for how long now? The least they could do is work a little bit on the interiors. That there is a huge downfall for me. Even the DLC cars in Forza have interiors.
And I guess this all relates to Mass Effect 2 going to the PS3 as well - What's the point in having any if you can't even have the first one?

All of those except Alan Wake is available on PC as well.
When they say extra content, they might do a montage of the moments that matter in ME2, saving the council, Rachni queen, Wrex etc that you can control, so that PS3 players get a better experience.

Doubt it. I'm pretty sure it'll just be a port, I don't think Bioware would go out of their way to create a better experience for PS3 a year after the game was made.
Also, the amount of PS3 fanboys in this thread is stunning. Can't we all agree the two consoles are good and have their own good shit about them? I mean, yeah, I am jealous of Steamworks and Portal 2, but I already have Steam on my PC, and Portal 2 is coming for that too, so do I really need Steam and Portal on my console? Valve has shitty support for consoles anyways, so I'd prefer they kept it to PC than giving us an illusion of caring about consoles.

I'm guessing the PS3 version will include the biggest DLC pack(s) and perhaps some visual/technical upgrades. Would be dandy if it ran at 60 fps.
