EA is also so greedy that they had to buy out the rights to the NFL just so they don't have 2K Sports giving them competition. That's how bad they are at making games.
I feel like 2k sport games have always been shit. MLB Road to the Show Series on PS3 > 2k Baseball But Mafia 2 is made by 2k, so they must do something better in a different genre of games. [editline]11:57AM[/editline] And EA just got sued for not having the rights of NFL players being put in their games.
EA is Valve's bitch, and Activision is EA's dishonoured, banished son. :v: (So yes, EA over Actvision, but if Valve was there, Valve would have about twice the score :v:) Also I like how there's like 7 activision voters and 158 EA voters. :v:
I prefer EA by a longshot. They haven't pulled as much crap as Activision imo
EA. Definitely. It's still a shame that 2K can't make NFL games anymore. I loved first-person football in 2K5.
Activision. I'm still disgusted on how EA sells the same sports game every year for $60... and people STILL BUY IT.
Ever thought about the fact that people like them? Also Activision release a game that is the same thing, every year as well. EA all the way.
valve
I don't get how EA is valve's bitch, all they've really done together is port the orange box to the PS3. But yea, Valve would win if it were there.
I don't particularly like either, but I'll go with Activision because they were formed by former Atari employees back before the big videogame crash. EA did make one of my favourite games of this generation though: Dead Space.
EA have never been shit, it's just people bandwagoning. I mean like all the games I own have something to do with EA.
MAYBEEEE all the games you own are shit, think about it. [editline]05:59PM[/editline] of course i voted for ea no one fires jason west
Activision has gotten worse the last few years, EA has gotten better. So yeah, EA.
EA by itself is okay, but it's subsidiaries get most of the credit (DICE, Criterion, Bioware, EA LA), although they did kill Pandemic. Activision has been knocked down few pegs in my book because of all the dickish moves they've (read: Kotick & Co.) pulled over the past few years. While EA has churned out and helped publish some subpar games, overall they're doing better than Activision.
While EA has done some bad shit in the past(buying Bioware, Pandemic, destroying Westwood Studios), they redeemed themselves by releasing some good games(or publishing). As long as they don't touch Valve in PC. Actvishit, well, take a guess why I did that. It has been a year, and how much is MW2 on Steam? 60 dollars. Sure, EA is planning on doing that sooner or later, but why the hell would you pay 15 dollars on 5 maps? Could it not be 15 or 100 maps? Oh wait, that requires effort, and being friendly to the community, and they don't want that.
ea hands down. they seem to be becoming a better company recently.
I don't really like either of them, though I love their subsidiaries.
At this moment, EA is definitely better.
EA is getting better and better. They're removing most (if not all) DRM they had and they're not being that hard on the devs for new games right now.
Activision,EA ruined command and conquer when they bought out westwood studios,I was also hoping for Renegade 2 but because of EA it never came out :frown:
3rd option THQ :smug:
EA used to rip people off, and although there may have been a bandwagon they certainly deserved a lot of the criticism they received. they have definitely improved. The main thing I don't like about them (and this was proved at E3) is Sports. Stop making fucking Madden.

They're the ones responsible for killing everything Westwood created. They're among EA's worst, not their best.
Here's an emoticon to express my feelings: :hellyeah:
That game was great though. You start out with that shitty ass TV in your house where you can barely see the words on it, and then over time you get it bigger and bigger until you have that huge widescreen TV. Good stuff.
vavle [editline]09:55PM[/editline] E
Their both whores.
Their both whores.
They are, they're.
As much as i would love to ask where the option for neither is, i'd say EA.
They are, they're.
Meh, I`m typing fast and rely on Fire Fox`s Spell Check to correct me.
